Email God
If you have trouble keeping a daily journal, try sending an email to God each day. After writing your email, instead of sending it, just print it, and put it in a binder. Before you know it, you’ll have a daily record of your personal journey.
Red Light Green Light - Pick a topic for prayer each day, Then whenever you come to a red light, let that be your reminder to pray for that need.
Divine Date - Set aside a block of time (2 hours or more) each week to get alone with God, apart from your regular prayer time. Let this time be just for you to hang out with Him. Go to a park, or the beach, or somewhere you don’t often go. Leave your cares and worries behind, don’t bring any prayer needs with you. Keep this time free from other concerns. Just enjoy God and allow Him to speak to your heart.

I have been blessed personally by Kathleen’s personally prophetic messages. I do have a great prayer journal and am beginning to expand it, sort of like a blog. I write what I hear, and it makes sense. I would like someone to read what I have written and comment. Comments are neat too. (Go to: http://usexaminer.livejournal.com/) Thank you and blessings to all.
I am trying to follow my trust and reality of Christ. I have been years in wandering… and coping with my mentally ill, physically ill spouse who only know Jesus as a cuss word. I am re-learning to trust in my Lord. I am appreciative of the insight you have and share. I do pray (when I remember) for the prodigal sons and daughters of the world…that is heavy on me. Not sure why but I want all to know Jesus and trust in Him, especially my family, but know many need to be held up in prayer. I don’t know how to enjoy God and allow Him to speak to my heart. The Word is like steak when I am on baby cereal I try.. I love Jesus.
I don’t know how I overlooked this email. I am just reading this now, 3/12/11…great things to do. I am going to print this post as a reminder. Bless Prayercentral.
What a great idea. There is just so much going on that I rush through my Bible study to complete my day’s task. It is important to stop and spend time with the ONE who knows all things and to allow Him to touch my heart.
I decided to just email myself instead printing my email. Also, I ended up putting more of what God said to me than what I said to God in the email. I like that. It’s an easy way to journal for those of us that aren’t accustomed to using pen and paper very much. Besides it’s easy to search in my inbox or look up what I wrote by date! Great ideas, Wayne
Dear Father, I come here to You tonight to glorify You in all I say and do. I want to thank You for Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I want to thank You for giving us Your One and Only Son to die for us sinners. I thank You for forgiveness of our sins and ask that we are continually talking with You and studying Your Word so that we can go home with You some day soon. In Jesus name I ask this according to Your will and Your time. I love You.
Never thought about a divine date….want to set one with the Lord right away…Be blessed

What a novel idea-red light green light prayer!
Dear God,
It is so good to daily draw near to You. Thank You for providing access wherever and whenever. Jesus is always available to see that I am able to reach You. What would I do without Jesus? Thank You for drawing me into Your fold. Today I was able to help a friend in need. I was also able to share a verse from Your word with her and I think it had special meaning to her to see how Your word helped me get through a difficult time. Thank You for letting me have a way that was significant to her to share You. I pray You will draw her closer and closer. You know her Lord and what her needs are. Be with her this evening and help her to be peaceful and get some rest.
I pray in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus, Amen.
