Ah, Kathleen, what a wonderful series of verses. They are SO familiar to me! This is the SECOND TIME I have actually been able to hear you all the way through you message and your voice is a true ‘balm in Gilead’. Do you know this miracle of being able to hear you completely given the incredibly slow speed with which our computer works on Dial-Up? Do you realize the incredible VICTORY over Satan as the prince of the power of the air that the Almighty Trinity has brought for me. What an opportunity to testify! And, what an opportunity to commune with you on this incredibly hard and deep subject of temptation. So many Christians speak ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ and just do not get it that we, as Christians, will most certainly be tempted and that our best defence is the offence of being in the throne room of the Most High God every moment of every day seeing the face of Jesus, holding the ankles of God and, receiving the intercession of the Holy Comforter! Praise you for opening yourself to His lead but praise Him more for leading us NOT into temptation!

O what a timely word. The Lord has brought up an issue that has shocked me! I can’t believe that I never saw this particular action as wrong. I felt so ashamed but he let me see it because he is faithful. Now I can get rid of it.

Oh Kathleen, I love those Scriptures!! This whole idea of God giving us a way out has been on my heart for the past few weeks. He’s like the ultimate escape artist - enabling us to become little “Houdini’s” breaking out from the bondage of sin - no matter how hopeless it looks. There’s always a way out. We can be looking for it because it’s there.
Thank you for your faithfulness, Kathleen. I always look forward to Tuesday mornings to hear your words of encouragement and exhortation!

Are you tempted? A prayer4U: “Lord Jesus I thank You for Your promise that You will provide the way of escape when we are going through temptation. We look to you together right now for your way up and out and away from the temptation. Help Lord, give us supernatural power, to see your Spirit rule over our flesh. Thank You God that you really ARE for us. According to Your word, we submit to You and resist the devil in Jesus name right now. We say no to the pull of evil and we run away from the things that are tempting us, and we run into Your Presence now. In Jesus name. Amen.”
