Wow, talk about a Word in due season…have been distracted from writing the book I’ve been called to write, because I’m writing about a really painful time…so spent 2 days researching my great, great, great, great grandfather, a Frenchman who survived the black rebellion in Haiti…I realized that had he been killed I’d not be here to tell my story! While it was fun to find his marriage contract to his wife in 1801 in the archives at the U. of Fla. (4 poster sized pages involving land transfers, and Revolutionary war soldiers who followed his lineage, It took me totally off course. Copies arrived yesterday in the mail, but will have to wait till another time to translate them! I’m back to writing because I “heard” the Lord’s voice through you! Thank you for your obedience to YOUR calling!
