Word:
-I see in the light as well as in the darkness; nothing and no one is hidden from my sight says the Lord. I will meet you where you are, I will lead you from where you are, I will draw you towards myself. Remember my word that tells U ‘draw near to Me’ and the promise, ‘and i will draw near to you’. guidance, wisdom direction are not things you do apart from Me or even for me, these are all things you do with Me says the Lord. You will find me in my word, you will find me in worship , you will find me as you express your gratitude. For my name is Emanuel, God with you. Draw near now, and command the storm to still for indeed you will discover that I have been in the boat with you all along.

Scripture:
Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! Were going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. Matt 8:24-26

Jesus has given this to me twice in two days! The first in devotions with my little boy, age 10, and today. This week my husband’s mother had a stroke, our finances are shakey, Bob’s Dad is in a rehab center following post open heart surgery and has a trach, our cell phones were turned off because our daughter sent/texted too much? Storms!
So many storms, I cannot keep up with it all! Jesus is still in control. I simply need to take the time and give each storm to HIM and watch what he does!

Father you are amazing, I thank you for speaking to the storms in my life. I thank you that no storm can steal my worship and praise and adoration for you. Father, right now I lift you above every situation that would try to contend with your glory and cast down every imagination and exalt you Jesus in it’s place. Father I thank for rising above and canceling out fear, any fear of my son going to Afghanistan, I know you will protect lead and guide him. Father I thank you for rising above the the spirit of lack and poverty that you are my Jehovah-Jirah the Lord God who provides for me, thank you Lord that I have more than enough and I will continue to rely upon your promises to me, the words that you have spoken to me they are true. My help comes from you and I trust in you, you will rebuke the devour for my sake in Jesus name Amen

Thank you for this message….it is a reassurance of His love and companionship that keeps me whole….with His love and light, I am a sheep and He is my shepherd….keeping me on a path, walking alongside me and encouraging me on with His constant blessing….so faithful is His love and so towering is He that I never feel alone, that He will be there no matter what and will catch me if I fall….sure, there will be trying times and there will be easy, carefree times, but in all times He is there….

I opened this at noon today. The storm clouds are so thick and dark that I need lights on as if it was twilight. I never remember it being this dim at midday in Oregon. Your message is a wonderful “steady ahead” for me as huge decisions loom. I love when he orchestrates his Word and his creation together for good. Thanks, Kathleen
