Kathleen, I am praying for you and your daughters and all who mourn the death of your precious husband. I had just discovered this site about a week before your husband died. Even tho’ I did not know him I was stunned by his death. I want you to know that this web site has blessed me over and over again. I have it linked to all my emails to direct people here who are serious about praying. You have a way with words that touches me deep in my soul. I pray blessing, peace and comfort on you and the full sufficiency of God’s grace for all your needs to be manifested to you daily, hourly, moment by moment.
peace and grace, my sister in Christ.
Thank You for your ministry, my son was in Iraq last year and it was such a comfort to me to know that there was prayers daily for him. We have said goodbye to many other young men his age, some to Iraq and others to Afghanistan. Thank You. He is back home at Camp Pendelton and we continue to pray with your daily e-mails.
You and your daughters are in my prayers.
Kathleen: Thanks for this word. So often I have heard folks who are looking only from the outside, surmise if you are experiencing trouble, you must be out of order before God. This wonderful teaching really clarifies that “it ‘taint necessarily so”. God’s grace IS (sufficient, powerful, gentle, persistant, or whatever else you need it to be).
Thanks, Kathleen, I appreciate your insight. I’m coming out of a hard winter were I suffered several losses. A job I depended on for income was eliminated, a couple of health issues with lessening of strength, and finally my one and only brother died with whom I was very close. You are an encouragement to me as you portray great faith even at your loss of your husband. Joyce
Thank you Kathleen! When I saw your email, I thought: “Oh my! In the midst of her own grief and loss and of comforting her daughters, Kathleen is still able to minister to others!” A sure sign that you have not “dropped your assignment”, and of His love, grace and mercy lifting you up as we continue to pray for you!
As for me, I’ve been struggling under the weight, and dropped it due to fatigue and discouragement, but only for a rest. Your example is so encouraging! I’m on the way back and feel hopeful! “If the Lord will do this for Kathleen, He’ll do it for me too!” Thank you Lord, and thank you Kathleen!
Thanks! I needed that.
I am praying for you and Julia & Jessica daily so that you will experience the comfort of Holy Spirit and the weight of God’s glory.
Love to you all.
Thank you Kathleen. My husband and I have been praying and reading for direction from our Lord. We received an answer. We are to wait upon the Lord a while longer. But your message today causes me to go back to the well to see if there is something I am missing. Is there something I have dropped? Where, why did I drop it. What has happened since the dropping of the weight. What am I to pick back up for the Lord.
My greatest desire is to walk — no run in the path of my God’s commands. Thank you for this word, I trust there is more for us to learn.
As always, Kathleen, you and your girls are brought to mind often and I am praying that you can feel the weight of God’s mighty hand upon your shoulders.
Love in Christ Jesus
Kathleen, Thank you for this word. I will be pondering it’s meaning in my life…I desire to do the will of GOD and not hinder the purpope he has for my life as far as I can understand and grasp what his plan is for me to follow specifically. You are a true woman of GOD. You are precious to many and especially to our heavenly Father who sees your heart.
Your word of the week is always inspiring. Blessings to you with love.
Again, Kathleen, thank you for your faithfulness. This is such a good and weighty word. And I didn’t expect it to tap into a place of emotion - for me, an indicator that God is trying to get my attention. So, thanks to you, he’s got my attention! I’m going to listen to this word of the week every day for a while and see what “surfaces”
Much love and blessing to you - to one who is such a good friend to the Body of Christ.
