Kathleen,
I’m a single mom who has been severely struggling financially. More than ever before in my life. I’ve been getting angry at God because no matter what I do or how many times I ask in prayer for breakthroughs or help, nothing seems to budge. I’ve been at a point where I didn’t want to do anything because it didn’t seem to make a difference anyway. I have repented of my attitude towards God, forgiven every person I could think of to forgive, and there were quite a few, and left it in God’s capable hands. Thank you for this word.
Thank you Kathleen for your words of encouragement every week. May God richly bless you and your family this Christmas season and throught the New Year.
A good word, Kathleen..especially at this time of year when it seems like there are more tasks than hours in the day. And these are the times when we tend to think, “Lord, I don’t have time this morning to get quiet with You.” Lord, prompt us who may be carrying “rocks in our shoes” to seek Your Holy Spirit-prompting to let all anger, unforgiveness and self-absorption to be put before Your throne and left there! Throughout these days of Christmas, help me to begin each day with You…to keep You close throughout the day and purpose to keep You #1 each moment. In Your Name, Jesus, I pray this. Amen
