On 3:07 AM on December 19th I woke up from a vivid series of dreams. The series was just like watching a T.V. series, back-to-back, but on fast-forward. The locations were around the world, on-site all throughout Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa. I saw scenes of people from every race, and they were jutting about, zooming ahead to buy and sell. Some were looking and chasing and inquiring, there were accidents, and just mountains and mounds of activities accumulating in a burst of acceleration across the seven continents of the earth. People were busy, caught up in their own things, pursuits, ambitions–and no one seemed very concerned or even aware of what others were doing unless it directly related to them.
Then in one of the scenes there was a large road accident in India and God just zoomed me in to this vignette. The accident involved people that had been traveling in all sorts of modes of transportation, just like normal traffic in India–cars and cycle-shaws and rickshaws and bicycles. One of the men had gotten really hurt in this sort of domino effect. So there was about 8 families waiting for the police to come, but the one man was laying on the side of the road, impaled by this large metal instrument that he was carrying on his bicycle. So I ran over to the group that was waiting for the police, and they all seemed disconnected from each other and they also were almost blind to the man that was dying from the impact of the accident. So I called out in Hindi “If there is a doctor, you please come quickly!” and one of the men jumped up along with one of women and said “I am a doctor!” and ran over to the man who didn’t have any time to wait for anyone to come to Him. Then in the midst of all this information, I was standing there, and I heard a voice saying “Don’t be distracted, don’t be distracted, don’t be distracted.” There was just this intentional urgency and it had to do with the imminent return of Christ and so as I stood there in the midst of all this information I was wondering “Well, then what am I supposed to do next?” Then I looked up into the heavens and there in the sky I saw the word ASK in three very large letters. So I took some time to ponder this before the Lord to find out the interpretation and this is what I believe the Holy Spirit is saying:
Number one: There is a sleep that comes from inactivity, but there is also a sleep and distraction that comes from too much activity. You can go on automatic, overload, get disconnected, and callused. You can be there, but not actually be present. We need to guard against this.
Number two: all the activity can sweep us up and forward along with everyone else and in the midst of that we can forget that we are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. We need to stay awake and be alert and not get distracted. We need to be intentional about His role for us and seeing His kingdom come and His will be done on earth at this time.
Number three: I honestly was surprised when the Lord said the answer to all of this is “Ask”. And so I shared the dream with one of my friends and she said “Well what is it we’re supposed to be asking for?” And I said “Well, ask what the bible says to ask for, His Kingdom to come, His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, for the nations as Christ’s inheritance, for God himself to thrust out laborers into the harvest field, for the fields are ripe. Exercise your priesthood. I believe that 2010 is the year that we need to activate it and run forward unlike any other time before. Lay hold of your role as his ambassador. Take up prayer and worship in and over your areas of gifting and calling. Be alert, don’t sleep while you’re driving. Ask Him what He wants you to be asking for, and get ready because He might have a surprise for you.
1st Peter 2:5 “But You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a people belonging to God that you may declare the praises of Him who had called you out of the kingdom of darkness and into His glorious Kingdom of light.” And Matthew 24:37 “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them away. That is how it will be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man, two men will be working in field, one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding with the hand-mill, one will be taken, the other left. Therefore keep watch because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.”

Kathleen - I just today returned from a mission trip to El Salvador and last week - when we were having a recreation day - we came upon an accident. On one side of the road the people were scooping all the spilled sugar into what ever container they had and on the other side of the rod two men were hanging out of the upside cab of the other truck dead to the full view of all and no one helping - I burst into tears and couldn’t stop crying for most of the day for the families of those who had died and the desparation of the people looting the sugar. So your dream is true and is from God. He is also drastically changing the course of my life . I quit my job right befor the missions trip which made no sense to anyone but me and God willing I will be returning to El Salvador to teach English to the missionaries there and their children and to help in the evagelistic dramas. I too was given a strong sense on January 1, 2010 that we are to begin living our lives as if this is really is the day of the Lords return and drop everything else. It was when I was reading my daily devotional and it was about Zacharias being given his voice back at the birth of his son and declaring that it was time to serve the Lord without fear because all of the enemies were taken care of and it was time to prepare the way of the Lord - We have been given the same message to prepare the way of His second coming!!!!! The dream God gave you is a huge confimation to me and one that I needed to take the next step of going into full time missionary work in El Salvador - thank you for sharing Gods’ word to you!!! Thanks ,That was very encouraging and just what I needed. I have been frustrated that I did not know what to ASK God. I knew He had me pray but How and What. I have been very busy getting some business started and in God’s will but I have been getting too busy and not spending the time because of my active mind……slow down Beth. Thank You for sharing this Kathleen. All this busyness that the world is involved-in is to keep us from taking time to pray and meditate on the Word of GOD, and then to take time to listen to what GOD has planned for us to do as HIS humble servants. As Christians we need to be in the Word and on our knees in prayer with HIM daily, the adversary wants us to be caught-up in the world’s busyness so that we don’t do those things that GOD wants us to do as HIS children… to ASK.

One of the things I’ve been feeling in my spirit ( there have been multiple deaths of really sick Christians) is that God is taking the weak, the ones who are not strong enough to stand because the time is so near!

A friend sent me a copy of your dream—yes, I am in agreement that distraction is a huge factor in people’s lives today . Many voices are speaking to our minds and we simply must seek the Lord for what He has on our schedule for the day. I notice, even in conversations, that distrctions come so easily. I have been sensing that the Rapture is near and our time is very short. We are to be about the family business (God’s Business). It is time to get serious about our relationship with Jesus; no longer as psudo-christians. The Lord is drawing us to Him for this TIME and this PLACE. We must SEEK HIM as a lifestyle full throttle. A passion is required and the Holy Spirit will give it to those who are serious about the CALL. His Church is being called to purify itself for this day and age.

Your word is remarkably similar to one of the first sermons delivered at our church this year. The basic theme was that, while we have “business as usual” that needs to be attended to, we need to do so with an on-going attitude of leisurely disengagement from this life. Otherwise, when the Lord comes for a visit, we could miss Him. The type was Abraham, the prosperous businessman, who included the right kind of leisurely disengagement in his life and so was positioned to see, recognize, and respond to the Lord when He came.

When you said pray for ‘harvesters’, I was amazed, because God has put it in my heart to do this too just recently!! I also feel the nearness of the Lord’s return! The signs are everywhere that we are in the season of His return, what exciting times these are! Sometimes while watching TV I feel these signs everywhere. TV programing is so bad, full of these signs we are supposed to be watching for;eating, drinking, marrying(The Bachelor), children being disobedient to their parents(The Nanny)Nightline(”it’s a sign of the times”)and the list goes on! Plus we are seeing the One World government coming into being. Apostacy is everywhere in the church, people wanting their ‘ears tickled’, yes the false doctrines are everywhere(mega churches). We are seeing an increase in earthquakes, strange weather conditions. We have a president who wants abortion funded worldwide by America’s tax payers. PLEASE LORD JESUS, COME QUICKLY!
Thank you. Unless we are hearing from the Lord we will not have the answers the world needs at this time of Crisis. The purpose He has given me for this year is to get closer to the Lord and and help others do the same.
Scripture says we are to heed the prophets and do well. Paraphrasing that I know, but God has brought together the prophets and appostles adding them along side the pastors, teachers and evangelists to equip the saints.
War is war. not funny games, not ooey gooey spiritual experiences. it is a taking up of the word of God, and planting the heavens with the word of God. the “dirty Harry” prayers are some of the best to start with. (psalm 68 and several others like it). I hear in your depiction that the Lord is saying to war, daily, and not just over personal issues, but for the nations. For one thing, that they may remain individual nations. some things going on at this time in the earth would replace the individual nations with a man made world system. and the passage out of the scripture about the “giving in marriage” and such, but years ago the Lord pointed out to me the passage about Uriah who understood what it took to remain at war.
It is time for us to lay before Him, as did the people in the college in Wales during WWII, but because of their availability (they really couldn’t do anything else) God inspired them to pray that Hitler would turn, and God did it. and it was in the newspapers, Hitler Turns. I hear a call to this position of committment, in your word shared, and I know that I long to see it for it is a different attitude, a different way of interacting with the Lord. a place of standing, not going over to the field of Lord for a lark and some play on the merry-go-round and then off to market, or where ever. and another prophet specifically said he understood the Lord to be saying that we needed as the Body of Christ get a handle on what was happening during Noah’s day and not do it. then again, not everyone is called to war. blessings.

Amen and Amen! I know India has come to mind lately, I had gotten an email from a missionary working to save young girls that are sold into sex slavery.
Also coming to mind, how we really are not in touch with how the Lord is always there for us, working in us and through us. But we do not ask because we do not believe He walks with us. The Lord is saying to me to get focused, pray, worship, and do daily what He has for me to do. These are the last days of the last days. We believe the shaking of the church has already begun and we need to have the truth. The real truth sets a person free. If you don’t have it you can’t give it.
Deliberate in action, the work of the Lord. Prayer, Praise, and Worship. And our eyes fixed on Jesus so we are ready… and yes, everyday ASK for the Peace of Jerusalem and His return. Before your feet hit the ground ask for His Wisdom and favor for the day. If you do all that, you won’t miss it. We take time out for everything else in our life, Post a sign..talking to Jesus, Don’t disturb!Remember, the sabbath was to “rest.”

Thanks Kathleen for the word. It’s so true. I’ve been having troubles, with health and functioning. If you have time could you pray for me? I’m not sure what’s wrong, but it’s been a long term struggle. I would like to be able to do more for the Lord and my family. Thanks for all you do. You are quite a blessing!

In agreement with this dream, the Holy Spirit laid on my heart a day ago, “auto pilot”. I felt a heaviness about how often we go through our day and have made no deliberate choices, simply we have coasted through and as it comes to a close we have not chosen to “do” anything, just ended up at the end of another day. Your dream interpretation coincides with a dream I had about 10 years ago. It has 2 parts. In the first one, I was witnessing to a friend and the Lord impressed upon me that she received Him that day. In that dream I was looking over my own shoulder observing this happening. After that dream, I had another, where I saw a cloud/storm over my city as I approached. There were flames atop the cloud,and with each strike of lightening, the flames grew higher. Then the cloud opened up to reveal a glorious burst of rainbow colors behind it, drawing my eye to the right where in a billow of white clouds was Jesus. I woke up yelling, “Jesus has returned, Jesus has returned!” I knew this was a prophetic dream that His coming is very soon, and that we need to be about his business getting the gospel out to the world. I know in my heart that His return is imminent.
ASK! “BE” intense for His coming. “What could You not Watch & Wait one hour?”

This is the forth comminformation along this line for the decade to come as it is put in one message. However, some may need to be aware that they could miss it if they cannot see or believe God is moving in and around them. When the shaking starts as it is stated in Hebrews, they may think that it is the devil at work and try to stop it when all along its been God looking to release the kingdom on those who are able to carry the glory of it. Yes, I agree with this dream, now it it is up to me to be ready to receve it with humility and assurance that it is God releasing His Will upon the earth!! Amen
Thank you, Kathleen, for this dream sharing. Yes, our prophetic intercessor here at The Bridge Church of Western North Carolina is receiving similar words from the Lord. She has been instructing us to “call” for the things that we need. Also, she is advising us to emphasize praying for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done, as in the Lord’s Prayer.
Our head pastors have not had a vacation/respite in over a year and a half, but will be taking time away this month. I believe that the Lord’s revelation to you about the dangers of being caught up in too many activities are apropos to their needs. I will share this with them.
We have a heart for the nations and the harvesters in our part of the Body; and we definitely emphasize pray and worship. Your words will be encouraging to our worship team.
Yesterday, while I was seeking the Lord’s will for me, He said that I will have a “surprise” in the Spring! How intriguing!
