“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.”
If you don’t have a “full understanding of every good thing,” maybe you need to get more active in sharing your faith. You can forget what a blessing it is to know Jesus, until you starting talking to someone who doesn’t know Him.
Try this out today. Pick out someone at work, or a store clerk, or someone you have the opportunity to chat with. Then ask them, “What are they living for?, What is your purpose for getting up every morning?” Then see where the conversation goes from there, just be ready to give them your reason for living. When you’re done, they will have a lot to think about, and you will be greatly encouraged, and have a “fuller understanding of every good thing.”
Tip – Don’t get preachy, as Leonard Ravenhill used to tell us, “A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument.” Share what is real in your life, your experience, not your knowledge.Print This Post
