Responsibility is Your Ability to Respond!

Are you feeling turned upside down by America’s upcoming elections? If you are, you’re not alone. But here’s the deal, YOU NEED TO VOTE.

In the last election it was reported that the majority of Christians simply didn’t vote.*

Jerry Falwell said:

Today roughly half of born-again Christian aren’t voting. They’re staying home. Imagine instead millions of people of faith all across America coming out to the polls and voting our values.”

Please think about these words from Tony Campolo:

Evangelical Christians, who once were a ridiculed irrelevant sectarian movement, have, over just three decades, become a powerful voting bloc that can no longer be ignored.

The word: RESPONSIBILITY means the ABILITY to RESPOND. If you’re an American citizen you’ve been given that ability to respond in our upcoming elections. It’s your responsibility.

Whatever you do on voting day, make sure you honor your privilege and get out to VOTE.

It’s the least we can do.

In His love and mine,
Kathleen Dillard

IF anyone is interested in what the thoughts of another ‘Biblical CHRISTian’ are
    – WHAT TO THINK of TRUMP?? @

    – And of the responses to his concerns in the 60+ comments – so far

I do personally wonder if President-elect Donald Trump will make any attempt to change ANY of the following while he is in office?
    – the ‘Legal Murder’ of unborn babies for the last 43+ years
    – ‘Legal’ same-sex ‘marriage’
    – official approval of ‘Trans-sexual’ LGBPTTQQIIAA+
    – official approval of ‘non-binary gender identification’

Mike Green – You are in the absolute majority – for I have made my personal choice known a few times – and I have had no one who has expressed support or agreement with my Biblical understanding – which does not bother me, or change my mind – for I have made every attempt to already ‘count the cost’.

You say that you trust the platform of ‘the candidate for the opposite Party is very likely to uphold the principles of their party’
    – I do not anymore
    – and I concur with what C.H. Spurgeon said over 100 years ago – ‘Of Two Evils, Choose Neither’
    – for “the certainty of the words of truth” are demonstrated to me every day by the vast majority of all of the ‘representatives’ of all party’s – in all facets of the government of ‘Amerika’:
“The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.”
    (Psalm 12:8 ~ AV)

I speak only for myself, and make no judgment about what other people choose to do.
I am a believer and follower of my “Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” – a ‘Biblical CHRISTian’ first and foremost
    – and in a very distant second place, a citizen of ‘Amerika’
    – so “by faith” my choice is to follow the Biblical example of Abraham and others:
“But now they desire a better country,
    that is, an heavenly:
wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God:
for he hath prepared for them a city.”
    (Hebrews 11:16 ~ AV)

I agree with you a whole lot, Brother.

I feel, however, that to not vote at all is to cast a vote against principles in which I do believe. Those principles are, at least to some degree, incorporated in the platform of the Party of the candidate for whom I will vote.

I’m deeply concerned that the Presidential candidate for that Party will not uphold those principles. I am, however, of the strong opinion that the candidate for the opposite Party is very likely to uphold the principles of their party.

So I will vote, not for the candidate, but for the platform of the Party they represent. I pray I will vote wisely. I pray that others will do the same.

Above all I pray that our Father in Heaven will take dominion in this land in which we live, that His will be done here as it is in Heaven and that we — His people, who are called by His name (not those who are not) — will repent of our sins and turn from our wicked ways and that He will heal our land.

I am a combat vet of the Vietnam ‘conflict’ – and my choice is not made lightly.
    – It is my understanding that both Mrs. Hillary Clinton and Mr. Donald Trump are reprobate, very wealthy members of the ‘elite’ – and by their actions – neither one of them has any genuine interest in anything about my “Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” – or in ‘Biblical Christianity’.
    – So – I personally DO NOT expect either one of these “antichrist” candidates to change ANY of the following morally heneous laws of this increasingly “antichrist”, ‘spiritually black’, and increasingly ‘neo-Pagan’ country
    – which has ‘Legally Murdered’ an estimated FIFTY to SEVENTY MILLION unborn babies in the last 43+ years ~ But ONLY “the Lord God Almighty” actually KNOWS HOW MANY ! ! !
    – that has recently ‘Legalized same-sex marriage’
    – and even more recently condoned ‘Trans-sexual’ perversions – LGBPTTQQIIAA+

I have also given very serious thought to the sound ‘truisms’ of thoughtful men
    – ‘The lesser of two evils is still evil’
    – And ‘Constantly choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil’
    – And have also very-very seriously thought about what C.H. Spurgeon said over 100 years ago – ‘Of Two Evils, Choose Neither’
    – So – I have ‘counted the cost’ of my choice – ONLY by the Continuous Wondrous Grace of “the only wise God”
    – and my personal choice is:
“Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: …
… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
    (Joshua 24:14 … 15 ~ AV)

    – So how can I do that which DOES NOT honour my personal “Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” by casting my vote – yet again – for any political candidate that I know willingly and knowingly rejects “the LORD JEHOVAH” and His ways?

Am I going to be influenced by what the vast majority of other people choose to do? – NO

Am I going to be influenced by what ‘the religious crowd’ may say about me, or possibly do against me? – NO

Am I personally going to choose to – yet again – bow my knee to the idol of ‘popular opinion’ – and follow – yet again – the ‘Broad Way’ of ‘the gospel of the majority’? – NO

    – SO – My personal choice is – I WILL NOT VOTE in the upcoming Federal election.

    Thanks Kathleen,
I’ve always voted even though so often my candidate loses. This year I’ve been urging people to vote. I don’t know how many friends I have lost! I strongly support our military and police AND I’ve very pro-life Blessings to you!

I have been praying for this election for a year, and yes, I will be voting. My deceased Dad and uncles were Veterans, and my son is a Veteran. May God Bless the USA and all our military!!!

For the first time we can stop the advancement of babies being murdered.

We can stop Christian Colleges from being forced to submit or close.

We can vote against global control and go back to the covenant that Jehovah God made with America.

    I will be voting!

I believe that “being in the world but not of the world” applies to voting, especially this year. If we do not vote God’s heart then we will get a lot of practice “turning the other cheek.” How are we to be obedient to the Garden of Eden mandate to “manage” where we have been placed if we do not do what ever it takes to be obedient to Him.

I will be voting! My sons and husband are veterans and it’s cost us alot to have this responsibility! Also standing for the babies and voting against someone who is so passionate about allowing abortions! Thank you and God bless and forgive this country!
