Repent – The Power is in YOUR Hands

“The last words of Jesus were not, ‘Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.’ That was for the eleven disciples. The last word of Jesus is in Revelations, ‘Repent, repent, repent.'” -Leonard Ravenhill

Hi! This month, as you & I approach elections in America, I want to dedicate these editorials to Leonard Ravenhill. If you don’t know of him, you should.

He was called to America, from England, to bring revival and awakening in the U.S. He prayed 8 hours every day. He wrote over 120 books, the best known, “Why Revival Tarries,” and he traveled 1000’s of miles to preach, teach and reach America.

Leonard mentored my late husband Wayne and I in intercession. He used to lead Friday night prayer meetings in Texas and when he prayed out loud your bone marrow separated from your bone and the prayer room shook.

In Leonard’s life time he never saw the awakening that he laid his life down for. In this hour, I believe you and I need to recognize and honor his apostolic investment. We can do that by doing two things: repenting & praying.

In the end our answers won’t come from the White House they will come from God’s house. If it’s true that, “Righteousness exalts a nation,” (Proverbs 14) then there might be much more power in YOUR hands than you realize.

Let’s pray.

In His love & mine,

Father, we thank you for the foundation of righteousness that you brought to a generation through the ministry of Leonard Ravenhill. Today we stand in agreement with his love for truth and his prayers to see a nation
truly alive and revived in the love of Christ.

Today we repent of the things in our own lives which hold us back from loving you with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and we freely receive the power of your grace.

One by one, revive the people of this nation. We ask that you would soften and prepare the soil of many hearts to receive seeds of truth sown by the anointing of your Holy Spirit. Father, we are asking you for an unprecedented revival, a turning, a rending of the hearts of this nation – that you would have your way here in a way that shakes the nations. Your kingdom come, your perfect will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

 have prayed.
