Praying decreases violent crime by 17%

There are 2 months left in 2010, but the race is not finished yet. Let’s catch our breath and get God’s grace to finish strong for Him this year! Amen?

A few days ago I went to the National Day of Prayer Leadership Summit. I was inspired by testimonies of how violent crime was impacted through believers just like you and me going out for prayer walks. The director of the National Day of Prayer reported that since Shirley Dobson got involved with the Task Force for Domestic Violence in 1993, violent crime has decreased by 17%.

Here are some insightful stat’s that I thought you’d enjoy.

Statistics on Americans and Prayer

a-kath-picIn closing, recently I was digging through some files on the computer and I found several titled, “Hot Quotes” that Wayne had collected. Here’s one of them for you right now:

“The angel fetched Peter out of prison, but it was prayer that fetched the angel.” T.W.

Be blessed! And remember, God is not only with YOU, He IS for you!
