In Need of Your Prevailing Prayers

Colorful autumn

Hello!

May the Lord strengthen your heart with His nearness. And may you be inspired to share His love with those you come in contact with. The approaching holiday season is a great time to express His extravagant love to those around us. Amen?

I remember Leonard Ravenhill’s favorite poem and it always spoke to my heart,

“Only one life, ’twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.
And when I am dying, how happy I’ll be,
If the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee.”
-C.T. Studd

If you could take a few minutes and prayer for the Ebola outbreak, I believe our prayers would bring an impact at this crucial point.

Sending you a big hug~
In His Love and Mine,

“One thing God has spoken, two things I have heard:
‘Power belongs to you, God, and with you, Lord, is unfailing love…’ “
-Psalm 62:11-12

Lord God, we stand in the gap for those who have been afflicted by this terrible virus that is ravaging the people of West Africa. We pray that you will protect the health workers there, and give people courage to come forward to get help.  In the name of Jesus, we break the power of fear and superstition that would prevent people from getting the help they need. We bless the researchers who are looking for a cure. We pray for a revelation of knowledge to come to them in order to bring relief to thousands of people.

As governments do what they can to help, we pray for a release of Your supernatural wisdom and courage. Where human reasoning  and power ends, we look to You to do the impossible: to contain this disease and bring total healing to every man, woman or child who has been afflicted with ebola.

Not only do we ask for healing of the body, but ultimately the salvation of many souls. May people be encountered by Your love, that can transform them eternally. Whether you decide to do this through people, media,or angelic encounters, we cry out for intervention that will bring renown to Your name and a revelation to many throughout this world of Your power and Your unfailing love.

Jesus, you have shared in our humanity, and have broken the power of death in order to free us from the slavery of fear. We thank You for Your love, for Your willingness to suffer with us and for us, and that You live to intercede for this broken world.

We trust that You will do what is good and right in response to our intercession. To YOU be all the glory. Amen.

 have prayed.
