How Have YOU Been Reacting?

It was inspiring to see the legacy of Billy Graham at his library and museum dedicated to him in Charlotte, N.C.. Don’t miss his powerful quote below.

l just wrapped up a great week of ministry in North Carolina. The winds of the supernatural were blowing and folks had numerous encounters with Christ.

I thought you would like the message I shared on Sunday, especially if you are currently going through a hard time.

Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation.” It’s part of life, this side of heaven’s veil. However, the choices you make during a rough patch can either steer you through or take you off the road.

Keeping your car on the road in rough times

1. Be grateful. Open your mouth and tell God everything you’re grateful for. Make a list. Pay attention and practice gratitude.

“….Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thes.5:18

2. Take your energy for complaining and invest that into prayer instead. When you pour out your heart to God you’ll get a lot more out of it.

“The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.” Ps.34:17

3. In a time of strain, go ahead and ask people that you trust to pray for you.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Gal.6:2

4. Do a good deed for someone else.

“…the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “Acts 20:35

5. Stay connected to believers, go to Sunday service, small group etc. Resist the temptation to isolate yourself.

“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Heb.10:25

Hudson Taylor said, “It doesn’t matter really how great the pressure is,  it only matters where the pressure lies. See to it that it never comes between You and God, so the greater the pressure, the more that it presses you to His breast.”

May the Lord meet YOU!

 Powerful quote by Billy Graham:

“The secret is not me. So many people think that somehow I carry a revival around in my suitcase, and they announce me and something happens, but that’s not true. This is the work of God and the Bible warns that God will not share His glory with another. All the publicity we receive sometime frightens me because I feel that therein lies a great danger. If God should take His hand off me, I would have no more spiritual power. The whole secret of success of our meetings is spiritual…it’s God answering prayer. I cannot take credit for any of it.” -Billy Graham.
