Can You Hear Me Now? Be CLEAR!

“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”
-Oswald Chambers

There we were in Delhi, India, crammed into a Maruti van. Our flight had been canceled the night before due to engine trouble. So this was round two of shuttling to the airport.

The taxi driver bounced with energy and insisted on stashing our backpacks in the trunk with our luggage. He didn’t stop asking until I said, “Nahi” which is “No” in the Hindi language he spoke. As soon as he heard it, he said, “Oh, okay.”

It surprised me how easy it was to get what I wanted the minute I made the communication clear. This is something to think about.

Clear communication impacts our outcomes.

How you communicate with God, with those around you, and even with yourself changes things. You will recall Jesus’ words, “Let your ‘yes’ be yes and your ‘no’ be no.” When you hold back or linger between two opinions or haven’t gotten the clarity you need through time with God it muddies things.

So, press in. Find your clear ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and go ahead and put it out there. Amen?

As you do this, I want to draw your attention to the “Prayer Tips” section on Prayercentral. You will find a series of tips there, just take a minute to click on one that catches your eye and see what God has for you. Treasures await when you take the time to dig a little bit.

Hugs to you from my snow-blasted home front,
