“The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.”
-Psalm 29:11

How has your week been?

Life certainly has its ups and downs. All of us have experienced traumatic experiences at one point or another. When we are in the midst of dealing with these unexpected events, our gratitude for those around us seems to suddenly surge. Anyone who has lost a loved one, or endured a natural calamity understands the importance of having a support team during these emergencies.

Here at Prayercentral, we have a built-in emergency support team – our 911 Prayer Focus, a prayer force that we call upon during specific times of crisis.

Many of you may have heard about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine and the recent increase in violence and casualties. On Tuesday morning, we sent out an alert to our 911 Prayer Team to pray for this situation. Since then, hundreds have prayed for the region, and just today it was announced on BBC News that the countries have agreed to a 3-day ceasefire and will soon discuss a more permanent truce.

We say, “Yes, and amen!” to this wonderful news that follows three weeks of rockets and civilian casualties. We see this window as a divine opportunity, and we ask you to join with us in praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

Do not underestimate your position to impact things forever through your prayers.

Standing with Israel,
