A Word for YOU

I’m sending you a big hug right now and asking the Lord to meet you with His wisdom and peace.

You know, sometimes I wonder what would happen if all the negative talk we hear about pastors was instead directed to God in prayer. What if our first response was honest conversation with God, where we bless, uphold, thank, and cover our church leaders.

The word says, “The tongue has the power of life and death,” so why not use that power today to bless your pastor?

You can do that right now using this Fetch-a Prayer tool that my late husband, Wayne, designed:

You can also sign up to have these sent to you as reminders to pray, so you can keep up the good work. As Wayne used to say, “Sometimes you get the pastor you’re praying for.”

Before closing, I have a word for YOU. In the prayer letter I send out each month by snail mail I always include a prophetic word. I also tell amazing stories about my work overseas that I can’t put on the internet. You can sign up for that by emailing your snail mail address to us at

cliff_jumpOkay, the word for you right now is keep doing the next thing. Often times, breakthroughs are ushered in with many small steps. I know you sometimes have to face discouragement and even impossible things, but take the next step. Do it in faith. Do it while you’re leaning hard on God.

I found this quote in an old missions book recently and would like to share it with you in closing:

“Nothing before, nothing behind:
The steps of faith
Fall on the seeming void, and find
The rock beneath.”
-J.G. Whittier

In His love and mine,

Kathleen Dillard

P.S. Your prayers are still desperately needed for Israel! Keep praying along with our last 911 Prayer Alert.
