Land of God’s Choosing
“For the LORD will not abandon His people,
Nor will He forsake

The history of Israel and the Jewish people has developed over 35 centuries. The Bible records the first thousand years of this history, during which the Jews developed a cultural, national and religious identity within the Land of Israel. Although the Jewish people have been dispersed all around the world, there has always been a Jewish presence in Israel.
Even those living in other nations never forgot their roots or the land God promised their forefathers. In 1948, 2,000 years after the Jews were forced from their homeland, Israel once again became an official Jewish State. For thousands of years the Jews have been trickling back to their homeland from over 70 countries, and now it is a patchwork of multiethnic communities living side by side.
Over the past 50 years, the population of Israel has grown seven fold. The 6.2 million inhabitants are made up of people from every ethnic background, religion and lifestyle. Jews comprise about 78% of the population, and non-Jewish people, mostly Arabs, number about 22%.
"O house of Israel, bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD; O house of Levi, bless the LORD; You who revere the LORD, bless the LORD. Blessed be the LORD from Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!" Psalm 135:19-21
Pray for Jerusalem
for he who touches you,
touches the
apple of His eye. -Zec.2:8
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves; And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Is.62:6-7
Jerusalem, Israel’s capital (population 657,500), has stood at the center of the Jewish people’s national and spiritual life since King David made it the capital of his kingdom some 3000 years ago. Today it is the seat of the government and Israel’s largest city.
With 3,000 years of history behind it, Jerusalem is now thrust to the center of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
The epicenter of the conflict lies in Jerusalem and more specifically on the Temple Mount in the Old City. The Jews of Israel are locked in a conflict with their Palestinian Arab neighbors.
Although the Temple hasn’t stood for almost 2,000 years, Jerusalem continues to be the focus of the Jewish world. The Temple may not be there, but Jews believe that the intrinsic holiness of the site always remains.
In fact, Jerusalem’s Temple Mount is one of the most revered and contested pieces of land in the world. Muslems call the site Hareem al-Sharef. It’s where the Al Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock are located. To Jews, it is the place where Kings Solomon and Herod built the first and second Temples: the holiest place in the Jewish religion. Jewish tradition also maintains that in the End of Days, during the Messianic Era, a third and final Temple will be built on Mount Moriah.

Heavenly Father God of the universe and all that is seen and unseen, to you I give praise, honor and glory! Thank you Abba, for your unfailing love and mercy, for I do not deserve all you have given me. Help me to have the kind of love you have for others. Merciful God of the universe, please continue to watch over Israel and our brothers and sisters Judah. Please open their eyes, ears and hearts that they may accept Yeshua as their Lord, Messiah and Savior! Make the Christians and Jews one stick in your hand in these last days. Help us who are living in the last days to become strong…strengthen us, Oh, God Almighty and give us power to live righteous lives! We need your strength and courage; we need hope for the future. Turn all of our hearts to you and help us to do your perfect will while we wait for Yeshua to return. Bless and protect Israel and her people. Help them to find favor in the eyes of all of the peoples and nations of this earth. God forgive the people of the United States, help us to repent of our sins and turn back to you, dear Father God. Remove the scales from the eyes of all of the peoples of the earth, give us hearts that would accept your holy word and your precious Son, Yeshua. Help us, dear God; fill us with your Holy Spirit. Help us to worship and praise you as you desire and deserve. Thank you for hearing our prayers. Amen.

Pslam 24:8-10
Lord you are the King of glory–be exalted over all of Israel and its peoples–every other god in this nation must bow its knee to the King of glory–we say flee from this nation you spirits of darkness and bow down to Jesus the King of glory—we ask that the principalities and powers of darness in this nation be cast down and rendered powerless–we ask that the fear of the Lord and Spirit of truth be released in the nation of israel—we ask dear Lord that you would remove the veil that you placed over the eyes of Israel that they would recognize Jesus as their Messiah. 2 Corin 3:14. Amen
O LORD Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.
Praise awaits in Zion. We will magnify the Lord enthroned in Zion.
Father I thank you that you never slumber nor sleep as you watch over Israel. We join our voice with your awesome mighty voice that shatters the cedars. Yes, Lord, you do surround Jerusalem and we ask that you surround all Israel with a fire that the enemy cannot penetrate. No weapon fashioned against your people will prosper.
Let your favour be upon the Messianic believers who have set themselves apart for you. Make them like Joseph was to Israel. Cause all of Israel to love them and not persecute them like his brothers did. Provide for all their needs according to your word in Jesus Name

Baba we bless your people Israel today. We declare that no weapon fashioned against them will prosper. By your mighty power and amazing grace turn many Sauls to Pauls today. I especially bring to you that one and their family that was hardened for me. You showed mercy to me, o do show mercy to them and bring them home to Messiah. Remove the veil that they see the glory revealed in Jesus.
Worthy is the Lamb. Victory in every area to the believers in the LAND!

Surround your people Israel with your fire that the enemy cannot penetrate. Give grace to the Messianic believers as they face all kinds of challenges especially from their very own even as you faced the same and still stood in love.
Your word says that all Israel shall be saved O Baba let it be so even today. Bring men, women and children to Jesus. Amen
All praise and honor are due to you Lord. We say thanks for the Israeli people. Although they are bombarded by enemies on every side, we crave Your protection for them. They are Your chosen people, and hence, no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper. We say thanks to You for what You are going to do for these dear people - Amen
We return back all the praises, glory and honor to you as our “Jehovah Jireh” who cares,upholds and preserves Israel, as the apple of your eyes with your mighty and gracious hand.We are rejoicing and praising you through faith in Christ as we are blessed by reading your Word in the Bible about your chosen people, Israel that shares and declares your justice and mercy during the Old Testament Time till the end times for your glory and honor. Mysterious Jehovah! The above psalm 137:5-6 is quite amazing. Very first time the verse touches me painfully. I feel bad that I have neglected one important duty, i’ve been selfish. I’m right away writing to other friends to include this as a matter of urgency in our daily and routine outcry to God. May God hear our prayers, look favourably upon His people Israel, remember His unfailing promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and give Peace everlasting to Jerusalem. In Jesus Name Amen.
O God, you reigns and controls everything here on earth as it is in heaven. I am deeply convicted that we need to honor and praise God for preserving his chosen people in Jerusalem. We need to be united people of God praying for Jerusalem’s government, military and the population as a whole to see more and more of the Messiah, accept Him by faith,with the Holy Spirit’s empowerment can break the cycle of the bondage of fear, terror/violence and other conflict on that region for His kingdom’s sake.
