7-Minutes to Prepare the Way

- Church bulletin version or Bible companion card -

“You have to plow the ground before you sow the seeds.”

Power is released when we bring God’s word to bear on the need. Use these scriptures as a starting point for your prayer and let the Holy Spirit guide you into intercession.

Prepare the way- by praying 1 minutes a day for 7 days before any Christian outreach.

1- He’s God’s man-Remove your hand-(1min.) When a minister sets out to promote God’s Kingdom, he often runs into opposition of all kinds. Take your place along side the man or woman of God and rebuke the schemes of the enemy against his life, family, health, finances, and ministry. “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” -Psalms 84:11

2- To preach the word-You must be heard-(1min.) There are many unsung heroes working behind the scenes so the outreach can be effective. Ask God to anoint these workers with the skill and wisdom they need. “And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding and in knowledge and in all craftsmanship;” -Exodus 35:31

3- Anoint the man-And make him stand-(1min.) Preaching falls flat without the anointing power of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to clothe His man/woman with power from on High that he might have boldness, and freedom to speak the truth in love. “They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.” -Mark 6:12-13

4- The devil lied-Push him aside-(1min.) The devil has blinded the eyes of the unbelieving. Christ came that all men might be free. Stand in your authority as an ambassador of Christ, and bind the deception and accusations of the devil that would hold people back from receiving the Gospel. “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” -2 Corinthians 4:4

5- Truth impart- Straight to the heart-(1min.)
For truth to penetrate to the heart of man it must be clothed in the power of God. Ask for the Holy Spirit to bring deep conviction of sin. “When he (the Holy Spirit) comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment.” -John 16:8

6- Change of mind-New life they find-(1min.) Ask God for mercy on those who are perishing, and for the grace they need to yield themselves to the simplicity of the Gospel. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9

7- New life takes root- Now bear some fruit-(1min.) Ask God to protect and water the new life that has begun. “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 1:6

Don’t forget to also “Protect the fruit” for 7 days after your outreach.

    Father
In The Name that is above all names for at the Name Of Jesus every name shall bow at THE NAME OF JESUS. Jesus you said that which is bound in heaven is bound in earth so Father we declare every obstacle that will try to hinder all outreaches for 2010 bound in Jesus Name and we give you the Praise and the Glory. Father remove the blinders of every unbeliever that they may see clearly and remove the deceptions and all accusations so they can make a decisive decision for your kingdom. Father may every worker believe that he has the Authority and to walk in that Authority of the believer that we may increase Heaven with Souls and decrease Souls going to hell In Jesus Name we come against: “the god of this age who has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4)
WE THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOR WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH THE ANOINTING THAT COMES FROM YOU THAT IS WITH US, IN US AND THROUGH US.
    IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

    I love this!
    Keep it coming!
We are praying tonight for Pastor Michael Jacobs, who is visiting our church from Indiana. He pastored our own pastors, and now has come to bless us all.
We all need this continuous prayer.
