My precious Lord Jesus I ask that you protect those who are risking their lives for me and for my family Thank you Lord for giving them the courage to do all that they do everyday! On days when they have to see, hear, know and touch bad things I pray you give them strength and wisdom! Help them to remember they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them Philippians 1:3. I pray a special prayer for their families their wives, children, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Grandparents. For I am one of those missing my loved one. Give us courage in their absence! Thank you Lord for everything.
    in Jesus name Amen.

Blessed Lord, this is a difficult season in which our troops have to be at war. Temperatures in this region can be upward of 115 degrees. Because You are the Lord and Provider of EVERY need and wish to be joined with us in every problem, I ask for physical comfort and rest for our troops all over Afghanistan and Iraq…and especially today at Kandahar. Thank You, Jesus, for hearing; thank You for answering. Amen.

Yes, Lord, I agree for the soldiers at Kamp Holland. May they sense the presence of mighty angels ministering protection to them. May they experience the wings of the angels covering them and enfolding them in protective feathers that are impervious to the weapons of the enemy. As You apparently protected General George Washington during the Revolutionary War, not allowing him to be touched by arrows, bullets, or cannon balls, may you protect every soldier at Kamp Holland and all over Afghanistan. (I pray specifiecally for Beckie’s Michael.) In the strong name of Jesus I pray, amen.
