Father your word says to stand in the gap and make up a hedge and thats what we do today around Camp Leathermeck. We hedge them in on all sides and plead the blood of Jesus over each person in the camp. When the emeny would try and come in one way he will have to flee seven ways because the perimeter is secure. Thank You for your word of protection and for your mercy that is fresh and new each day, in Jesus Name.

Father God, we come to give you glory and honor, we worship you. You alone are God and there is no other. Lord, we ask that you shine your glory on Camp Leatherneck this day. Lord, we know that you deliver the righteous from all of our troubles. Lord, we pray that you would pour out your spirit on the righteous, bring them close to you that they may hear your heart beating for them. May they see you working on their behalf. What is meant for evil, turn it for good. Lord, for the unrighteous, we pray for the spirit of revelation and knowledge of You. We pray that you would be lifted up and draw many to you — troops, Afghanis, and all others. Lord, we pray for the Taliban and Al Queda. We pray that you would release the spirit of adoption upon them whereby they may call Abba Father. Lord, we especially pray for the leaders of this region. Give them your wisdom, counsel, and might. We especially pray for our military leaders — guide them, protect them, and give them your peace and your presence. Thank you for hearing us when we pray. Thank you for access to your throne of glory by the blood of the Lamb. We pray all this in Jesus holy, mighty name. Amen & Amen.

Protect our soldiers in Kamp Holland, Lord. May they make a difference in that area today. Put your shield around them and may they touch lives. Father in the name of Jesus I lift up Camp Bastion today. I proclaim today that You are God over Afghanistan and God over Camp Bastion and God over the people of this region. I ask for supernatural wisdom, love and protection for the men and women whom You have called to be warriors…We hold up tired and weary bodies in prayer and we ask for Divine intervention where it is needed…We proclaim that Jesus is Lord from the east, west, north and south of Afghanistan..and we ask for the souls of many…for You have said “ask of Me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance”….In Jesus name we ask…Amen

Congratulations! Afghan has needed much prayer, especially since the Iraq war is gradually winding down. I pray the Lord will not only protect our troops, but especially the Christians in the area. May the Holy Spirit help the Christians find ways to feed the hunger of the people for our true God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Lord God, As I was on the prayer team this weekend at our church, two strong, handsome young men, their parents and sister came forward to ask for a covering of prayer as they were both being shipped out this week — one to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. My heart swelled with pride for their courage, and for the focus that they had in this being an opportunity to be a witness for you. Please protect Greg and Jeff, and their fellow marines and other troops, as they literally walk into danger for the sake of freedom. YOU are the One who gives real freedom, and they recognize that. That is their witness to the men and women they live among for a period of time, and the Iraqis and Afghans with whom they come into contact. Strengthen them, Lord, to live lives that are totally sold-out to you, and in all situations to be the salt and light in a dark world. I ask boldly, too, that you protect them physically, emotionally, and spiritually, so that you may be glorified through them. We praise you, Lord, for your Omnipotence, and Your Mercies, that never fail!

Heavenly Father, our hearts are full of thankfulness for Your protection and guidance You shower upon our Military, the Afghan Military and Police, and the innocent people who need help. Be with the Troops at Camp Leatherneck tonight and with Forward Operating Base Salerno tomorrow and tomorrow night. Send forth Your Angels to form hedges surrounding them. Let no weapon formed against them. Give them the wisdom and discernment in their
daily work and fill their hearts with peace, joy and encouragement Knowing that You are there with them. Praise You and thank you for all answered prayers.
