“I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown both horse and rider into the sea. The Lord is my strength, my song, and my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him/ He is my father’s God - I will exalt Him. The Lord is a Warrior - yes, Jehovah is His name…The nations heard what happened, and they trembled. Fear has gripped the people of Philistia. The leaders of Edom are appalled. The mighty men of Moab tremble; all the people of Canaan melt with fear. Terror and dread have overcome them. O Lord, because of Your great power they won’t attack us! Your people Whom You purchased will pass by them in safety.” Exodus 15:1-3 and 14-16. TLB

Jehovah Sabaoth, we call upon Your name to fulfill these words for the soldiers at FOB Salerno as You did for the people of Israel in the wilderness, I ask this in Jesus’ name, the One Who IS the Lord of the heavenly armies, amen.

    Psalm 78:26
He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind.

Awesome God! Great and mighty you are, robbed in splendour, arrayed in glory. How beautiful and majestic you are!

Father we come in agreement to todays prayer. Father, we thank you that you have given this base to be a watchtower in the Southeast so close to Kabul. Be a sheild around them and their cover. Protect them from the bombs. Indeed no weapon fashioned against them will prosper!

You are the Rock O Lord, rock this nation we ask in Jesus Name Amen

“Happy is the man who has the God of Jacob for his Helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God - the God Who made both earth and heaven, the seas and everything in them. He is the God Who keeps every promise, and gives justice to the poor and oppressed, and food to the hungry. He frees the prisoners, and opens the eyes of the blind; He lifts the burdens from those bent down beneath their loads. For the Lord loves good men. He protects the immigrants, and cares for the orphans and widows. But He turns topsy-turvy the plans of the wicked. The Lord will reign forever!” Psalm 146:5-10. TLB

These are Your promises, Lord, and we speak them back to You on behalf of the soldiers and the civilians for whom they care at Camp Leatherneck. Bless them, Lord, real good, today, in Jesus name, amen.

Mighty Fortress, Lord you are Our Mighty Fortress, You are our desire, nothing else can satisfy. You are all we need Jesus you are all we need. You are our all in all. We worship and we adore you.

Father, we ask that you surround Camp Leatherneck with a fire the enemy cannot penetrate. We look to you alone for help. Protect them from danger that comes from within and even from outside the borders of Afghanistan. Today Lord keep them safe from IEDs and bullets and every form of attack. Thank you O Good Shepherd that even as you count your sheep, you never sleep!

Bring them home safely to their families and use them to bring your goodness to the people of Afghanistan. Let there be love and unity between them and all the other troops in the Kandahar region. For your Names sake. Amen
