Gracious Heavenly Father - Thank you for Wayne Dillard and the others at Prayer Central who set up this site to organize our prayers for our soldiers and the people of Afghanistan. May your blessing be upon them, and may you protect them from the evil one. Father, this day, we lift up the soldiers stationed at Camp Leatherneck. We pray for their safety, we pray for their families, we pray for their marriages, and we pray that your Spirit will minister to them. I pray for the chaplains and the other Christians stationed there. May you give them the boldness and compassion to speak the truth in love. May they bring strength and encouragement and comfort to our troops. Father we also pray for the generals and our president to make wise decisions concerning this war. May they consult you before every decision. Father, we also lift up the Afghan people. We pray that your truth would make them free.

I am excited to see there is finally an Afghan prayer patrol. I have been praying for our troops ever since they have been there. I new this one was worse than Iraq because I have friends and my own family in the military who keep me informed of this area of battle now. I will continue to ask God to bring a spiritual covering over our military men and women as they fight such a hateful enemy. I will also continue to pray that every tongue confess every knee will bow and declare our God in heaven is their Lord and Savior in this region. God created all the people in the world they are his they just do not know it yet but they will soon because we can pray that God’s will be done on earth as it it in heaven.
God Bless America and Our Military!!

Dear Heavenly Father, Please bless the troops who are at Camp Leatherneck today! May you grant them strength, stamina, and your perfect peace as they serve so faithfully for our country in a foreign land. Please convict President Obama of making the right decisions about Afghanistan in the days ahead. May he heed the advice of his generals there. Thanks for loving and caring for these men and women’s families while they are far away. Praise Your Holy Name! Amen!

Father I pray that those at Camp Leatherneck who are believers will take a strong stand for you before their fellow soldiers. This takes a special kind of courage that they can only receive by an abiding intimate relationship with You. May they each maintain that relationship with You, keeping at all times an eternal prespective on their lives. In Jesus’ precious Name.

Lord God, we bow down before Your throne and praise You, our Almighty God and Father. We thank you for those that willing serve to protect the freedoms of others. Please, soften hearts and remind those of us here at home, that let our daily live distract us, the importance of supporting these men and women not only in prayer but something as simple as sending a card or care package. Protect our troops in miraculous ways - please, send your might angels to go before, beside and behind them and preserve their strength, integrity and lives. You are a wondrous God and Your mercies are new every morning - great is Your faithfulness. We honor and glorify You and thank You for answered prayer - we love you - we pray these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bless the coalition and Afghan soldier’s skills of war, Lord. Make them conquering adversaries of the enemies of the Afghan people. And at the same time increase their awareness that their hearts are open before you, and that you are the one they are to worship and serve as they perform their duty to their country and the people of Afghanistan.

Father I lift up those who would grown weary with all the fighting. Sustain them emotionally, physically and spiritually as they fight for freedom from bondage for those around them. Be the one who goes before them in the early morning and be their rear guard at night. Give them wisdom in their night hours and reveal your love to them in Jesus name.
