Dear Father in Heaven, we do look to You for a good outcome to this war. We can do nothing on our own, You have said, but to trust in You is everything. Please help our soldiers who are in Afghanistan today. Please guide their steps and counsel them with Your eye upon them. Please bring down the plans and devices of the wicked, and please set the captive citizens of Afghanistan free from corruption, violence and terror. Heavenly Father, wicked men have their own plans for Afghanistan, but every outcome is in Your hand, and You WILL prevail. We can be certain of that. Please encourage all who do righteousness in Afghanistan and all who sacrifice for others’ well-being. Thank You, Lord Jesus. In Your Precious and Holy Name. Amen.
Unto You I lift up my eyes,
O You who dwell in the heavens.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyese look to the LORD our God,
Until He has mercy on us.
Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us!
For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Our soul is exceedingly filled
With the scorn of those who are at ease,
With the contempt of the proud. (Psalm 123)
Dear Lord: With You is plenteous redemption! We have heard of the war stories during the Arab/Israeli wars, how one tank withstood and won over Syrian tanks without number. They fled in terror and were asked later why. They said they saw 9 ft angels with firey swords. Harvard military school won’t use Israel’s wars in their studies because their outcomes are “too improbable” but if God is on your side…..the miraculous is ok to be expected. So, we don’t trust in the arm of flesh because it will fail us, we put our trust in You Lord, maker of Heaven and earth, and all that therein is. You are the God of the “improbable” and the impossible and You won’t be outdone by Your own creation. In You and You alone, Dear Jesus, do we place our US Soldiers’ lives and families. Only then can we know peace. Hold them tight Lord and don’t let them go. Reveal Yourself to them so they can know real peace in the face of their daily storms. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
IA,m thankful to TheT rue and Living God who has His eye upon all of our service men and women, who are care.I pray for Your covering over all the soldiers, commanders and the chaplins. I pray that all schemes of the devil will be disclosed to those who are for peace and freedom for the Afghan people, Amen
We pray that hearts and minds would be turned to You as the One true God. Change hearts and minds to desire peace and lay aside hatred, vengence and murder. Bring the troops to you for strength and the Afghans to you as their rightful King.
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for my dear faithful brothers and sisters who are interceding together for Afganistan. I gratefully pray with these who I don’t know, but who love you so much. And as Your body, we pray in unity that You would undertake today in Afghanistan. We pray that you would bring a mighty revival amongst the military, which will serve to bring them in love, power, unity, and protection as never before. Then let them be witnesses to those they are fighting for-and against.
In Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father, protect our soldiers in Afghanistan. Clothe them with the armor of God and let the Holy Spirit flow through their hearts. Lord, we fight a spiritual battle, those of us here, safe at home need to pray relentlessly for our troops, their families and the innocent people in Afghanistan. Lord, strike down the evil doers, we pray that our leaders will make good decisions and with your help we will defeat the enemy. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
Dear Father in Heaven, You are very great beyond all we can imagine! Today I was considering the amazing things You have done in my lifetime in answer to many people’s prayers and it encouraged me to pray on. I agree with today’s prayer prompt to request that someone in Afghanistan will find Jesus today. Heavenly Father, in history You have done very great things because of one who was faithful to You. Sometimes that one person turned entire societies away from evildoing and helped set in motion a process by which injustices were addressed and wicked practices brought to an end. Wilberforce is one who comes to mind, but there have been many throughout history. Today in Afghanistan will You release someone from darkness and bondage and make that person a child of Your Kingdom. And may the individual go on in faith, trusting You and making all the difference in Afghanistan, shining as a true light of righteousness and truth in the midst of this crooked and deceitful world. May there be joy and satisfaction in Heaven today over the one sinner who repents and commits his or her life to You this day. In Jesus’ Lovely and Precious Name. Amen.
Father, we ask a special prayer for those servicemen and women who are not with their families on this special day, who may not be eating a meal with turkey and all that comes with it, who may not be in a warm and cozy environment, who are not expecting to watch football on the huge TV today, who instead may be cold and uncomfortable, hungry and thirsty, tired, and stressed out. Father, we ask that You encourage them, let them know they are missed, protect them with miracles, let not a one be touched in a harmful way. You said, Lord, that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man or woman avails much. This is our effectual fervent prayer: that these heroes may today be blessed inside and out with Your love and ours. We ask it in Jesus’ Name, Amen
Father, I give a Thanksgiving prayer to all of those who serve our country. I pray for the people of Afghanistan. May the Holy Spirit touch their lives today and bless them. Lord, send your angels to protect our brothers and sisters there. May each find a moment of Thanksgiving and peace today. I ask this in you Holy name, amen.
Father, thank you for the men and women who are willing to give of themselves for safety of this country and our country. Infuse them with your strength and endurance today as well as the people in Afganistan. Together they can make a difference with Your devine help.
Oh, Lord thank you for this day of Thanksgiving. Lord draw people all over this nation to YOU today. May we all bow before you with Thanksgiving for our history, for those who have through the years protected us by your grace and for those who are protecting us all over the world today. Touch those who are far from home in a mighty way so they will feel that warmth of love from You and from us. Lord our hearts are so full of joy today for the coming together of family and friends to love each other and to share. May we during this time be truly grateful for your many blessings. And Lord touch our President and may he seek you from the bottom of his heart. You’ve placed him in this position Lord. Now, move in him like you did Paul and may he see that it is You who have put him there. And from this Lord he will be better able to make decisions about the war in Afghanistan and all other areas of the world where America is involved. We love you Lord. Keep your Hand on America and may we become worthy of your protection and blessings. Give all of us hearts of gratitude. In Jesus’ precious Name we pray…..Amen
Dear Father in Heaven, thank You so much for the efforts made so far by our troops in Afghanistan, for the sacrifices they have accepted and born, and for the professionalism by which they have conducted themselves. I pray that none of their good efforts would go unrecognized by the Afghan people. I pray that they will win the hearts, minds and trust of the people of Afghanistan, and even of the fierce tribes that live on both sides of the Pakistani border, and that all drug lords, all oppressors and terrorists, and the Taliban would fall from favor in the eyes of the people. May none of the efforts or sacrifices be proved to have been in vain, but may they all work together to bring about a good outcome for Afghanistan and its children. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.
Precious Lord: I agree with Wayne’s prayer for a spirit of cooperation between the US Soldiers and the local Afghanistan people to begin to fall from Heaven like dew on the grass in the morning. Let this fresh spirit of reconciliation drive out resentments and fear and anger. Let the Holy Angels of God stand guard over our US Soldiers and keep them safe and secure not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually also. Let this whole experience be seen as a GA, or Growth Accelerator, for the US Soldiers as well as the local people that are surrounding these Soldiers. May goodwill and excitement over the new possibilities now start to grow among the locals. Our US Soldiers are there to shepard them into a new era of growth and expansion and their governing bodies will be represented by the majoritie’s wishes and safety and laws will now be put into place for the good of the people. Let gratitude replace anger and fear among the locals and our US Soldiers see it from now on. In Jesus Name we pray, amen.
Lord,
I ask for Your favor be among our troops and the innocent peoples of Afghanistan. Help our troops be told of the schemes of the enemy and help our troops be protected from all evil. Lord, I ask also that You would give our troops favor with the Afghanistan people and the government. Please , Lord, keep our soldiers in Your bubble of protection. In Jesus precious name, Amen. I Love You, Lord.

I thank God, for whatever satan means for bad He Himself turns it around for good. The Goodness of the Lord shall be seen in Afghanistan. May this time when many are headed and facing Mecca in a way of seeking the truth, may the good deeds of the troops and leaders point them to the Truth, Jesus Christ, Amen
Father I pray first of all for our soldiers and their need for help in this war. I ask that you would be the one to come alongside them, help them to call out to you for help so that you might answer in your power. You defend and protect them.
I pray for the people of this city that the lies they have believed would be revealed and that your truth would come forth like the brightness of the sun. Help them to understand your heart of love and forgiveness.
Jesus, I pray for all the civilians who are helping the military during this time. Those who feed, provide the electricity, or even minister to the people who are over there supporting our troops. May they find Thanksgiving amongst the hardships that surround them. I plead the blood covering over the military bases and our soldiers. Thank you brothers and sisters that are willing to lay down your life for others. Amen.
Lord, thank you for what you have done for us in giving your life so that we might live. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that guides us as we seek Him. THank you for America, our Godly history, and for all those you raise up to pray for her. Thank you that we can worship You in total freedom. Thank you for the opportunities you give us to witness your love to others. Thank you for our families, for our good health, and thank you for the thorns that come in our lives so that we can learn from them. We thank you for those young men and women who are defending our freedoms around the world especially in Afghanistan. Thank you that you are caring for them and guiding them as they protect the innocent. We love you Lord ….. In Jesus Name….Amen
Father God you are a holy God, you are El Shaddi, we know that this is a spiritual battle, so we lay down our lives for you oh God, not man, no more witchcraft, no more deception but renewing our carnal minds with the mind of christ. In Jesus Name
Thank you for being there for America and our people. At this
Thanksgiving time we appreciate the sacrifice you have each
paid for the freedom that we still have here in America.
I thank the Lord for His faithfulness to each of you this day.
God bless YOU! Now MORE THAN EVER we need to press into prayer for Afghanistan. The last 2 months have reported the worst death toll for troops. There’s simply a BIG BATTLE going on for this region, would you please do whatever you can do to push the prayer focus for this and recruit folks to jump in with us on this Afghan Prayer Patrol.

Thank you for pushing the plow of God’s purposes in Afghanistan forward with your prayers! Our prayers ARE making a difference. You will see His rewards released.
