Dear Lord, please wrap your Armor around our soldiers, lift them up and help them to liberate the peaceful, innocent people in Afghanistan. Lord, strike down the evil ones, the cowardly terrorists, rid them of this earth. Lord, watch over the families at home and help every American realize and know that this is our job too. Lord, bless our soldiers, bless their families and bring them all home safe. Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, I am sorry to hear of the most recent loss of life in Afghanistan. May You please help and comfort those who have lost loved ones, and be a shield of safety to prevent further loss and trouble. Dear Father, I earnestly pray that these losses will by no means be in vain, but will combine with the previous losses for a sacrifice laid down to effectively work out the healing of Afghanistan and greater safety in the world. Thank You for the lives and work of these brave soldiers who have paid the ultimate price in a nation not their own.

Father in Heaven, considering Afghanistan’s hope for the future I also want to say that I love You because of Your goodness and Your great compassion toward us all. We do not deserve the least of Your mercies, yet You seem to delight in pouring out graces and gifts toward us in the same way the we delight to give good things to our children. I pray earnestly today for the liberation of Afghanistan from centuries of darkness and oppression. I believe the time for Afghanistan’s healing and freedom has come. I trust You that You have this in mind, and that You will bring it to pass, for I know that You do not look favorably on the oppression of the weak and the small. At this time I also want to pray for the safety of Afghan’s citizens and of the troops who are there with the purpose of setting the people free from violence and oppression. May this truly be an hour when no blood is shed, and may many hours link together to allow the people to work and learn without terror and without grief. May peace soon come to Afghanistan by Your amazing providence. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for caring for the people of Afghanistan and those who are there to serve them. You are such a faithful God!!!! I plead with YOU Lord, not to let any blood shed this hour. Lord, please let no innocent people die anymore in the Afghanistan. I am grieved that we have lost four more soldiers. Please, Lord, Keep our soldiers safe and the children and their families safe. Please, stop the plans of the enemy to harm our troops and children and their families. Help the families at home to pray and get through the holidays with their families gone overseas. Dear Lord: Our US Soldiers are lonely and scared. They feel sad. Please send them the desires of their hearts. Please oversee and overrule all events that are programed for them. Please cause all weapons to harm them to misfire or miss them. Spare their lives and let them find peace in the midst of all this. May this Christmas season be one that causes all US SOldiers, as well as their enemies, to contemplate the reality of Jesus Christ, a savior born. Father, during this Thanksgiving week, let us thank You in a more sincere, effectual way for all the wonders and blessings You have bestowed on us and our nation. Open our eyes to see You in all the bountiful gifts we have received. Father, we ask You to be with our military in this holiday week. Father I ask you would break the bondage of blindness in these people so that they might see the light of who you are and that it would bring repentance. We come against the spiritual principalities that have been assigned over this city and we cast them out in the name of Jesus so that peace and forgiveness can reign. Thank you for what you are doing in the lives of these people.

I lift our soldiers to you and ask for your protection and for wisdom in their daily lives.

We declare this hour an hour of “No Blood”. Make it a royal decree that covers every man, woman, and child in Afghanistan today. Stop the hand of the violent and preserve those who love peace. In Jesus name, amen.

Father God, I pray your protection to envelope around our soldiers so that no evil may come against them. I pray Psalm 56:13 over them.

For you will deliver them from death
and their feet from stumbling,
that they may walk before God
in the light of life.

Be with our troops this Thanksgiving and their families. Bless them and may they feel your presence in powerful ways. Give those serving in difficule and dangerous outposts a sign of your love and presence.

Precious Lord,

I lift up all the prayers of the saints to you Lord God. We Love you and seek to honor and gloify You in pray for our brothers and sisters in Afganistan. Those who are in the US military and those who are citizens of that country. Lord, let them all be the light shining in the darkness for YOU. Let Your will be done in each heart and mind, and let those who see these saints, know that the Lord, strong and mighty is with them. Upon seeing You with the saints, give them a seeking heart to seek after You also. Open the eyes of their hearts and show YOurself to them in a new and fresh way, so upon seeing, the will repent and believe the LORD GOD is showing HIMSELF among them and lighting the way out of the darkness that has been enslaving them. Let acts of lovingkindness and bravery and mercy rule the day Today for Today is the day of Salvation.

During this season Lord, we are so thankful even more for all you have done for us. We are so thankful to all of the troops and everyone else that keeps us protected and are willing to do the things that so many are not able to. Lord please rain down a special blessing over each and everyone in Afghanistan and touch the people there, You win the hearts and minds of the people Lord with your love. We plead the Blood over every person there and over their minds, spirits and souls as well. We give thanks in remembrance for them.

Father, Speak to the hearts of the people in the government and military in Afghanistan to be honest, truthful, and righteous in their words and actions. Make them uncomfortable when they are dishonest or deceitful. Send words of encouragement to stand up for what is right. Give them wisdom and discernment to govern wisely and for the military to make wise decisions. Give the Christians among them courage to influence them by being light and salt. Dispell the darkness from Afghanistan, LORD, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, I want to thank You for the reminder I heard earlier today about the power of prayer, and how You invite us to pray for the nations. I know that You can do amazing and wonderful things that we have not even thought of, or imagined. Thank You, too, for the reminder that the nations are yours, even though their citizens might be living as if You were not sovereign and undermining Your precepts and Your Kingdom. Today my prayer for Afghanistan is that all the sacrifice and effort that has been put into liberating that nation from terror and oppression will have its good and satisfying outcome, in Your time. Please encourage the troops who are actively serving over there even today, and those who have returned home with the reminder that You are sovereign over all, that You have seen the work they have done and the sacrifices they made, and that no effort that has been made for righteousness, truth and peace will be lost. Please deeply comfort those who have lost loved ones, and minister Your gracious counsel and comfort to those who have suffered stress and trauma as a result of their service in Afghanistan. I earnestly pray for the strongholds of wickedness, terror and corruption that have held Afghanistan in bondage for so long would begin to crack and crumble. May they be made to rock and to quake on their foundations, and may the foundations themselves be broken. Please help the Afghans who have been trained up with a mindset to pride and vengeance to realize that there is a sovereign God, who stoops down to look upon the things in Heaven and on earth. Help them to realize that You are so very great that even You are holy and entirely separated from the sin and corruption of this world, You are nonetheless big enough to be active and involved in the affairs of this world that You created, and the people Your hands have made. May they be able to receive the astonishing truth that You choose to be very near to us and to quickly answer the prayers of all who put their trust in You. May this knowledge and this understanding help them to repent of their pride and arrogance toward others along with their desire to take matters into their own hands and seek revenge for real or perceived wrongs committed against them.
