Father, we love You because You first loved us and You have called us according to Your purpose. So in confidence I ask for protection for the children in Afghanistan today. Cover them with Your ministering angels. Keep the enemy from harming or destroying them, or even making them sick. And LORD, because I know that children are special to You, I ask that You reveal Yourself to them so that they can know the One True Living God. I bless the work of Your hands, Father. Dear Father in Heaven, deeply encouraged by the power of prayer and emboldened in the knowledge of Your great compassion I want to make petition on behalf of the children of Afghanistan. I pray for the powers of darkness to be rolled back from that nation so that the meek of the earth, including the little children, might be freed and made safe from evil and oppression. I pray not only freedom from the horrors of war on their behalf, but freedom from the corruption and evil that has held Afghanistan captive over many decades, and perhaps over many centuries. Dear Father in Heaven, Your Word declares it and trusting You proves that there is none like You in Heaven or on earth, Who speaks and worlds come into being, and Whose heart is compassionate and inclined toward the meek souls of the earth. May it be Your Kingdom that comes and Your will that is done in Afghanistan. Please use the efforts of the troops and of all whose hearts are inclined to righteousness and all who love peace to help to bring about healing in Afghanistan today, and a society in which boys and girls can play and grow and learn without harm and without fear of cruelty, corruption, violence or terror. I pray You will be quick to bless the children of Afghanistan today. Please comfort those who cry, heal those who get hurt, give love to those who are neglected, encourage those who feel they aren’t big enough to do what they want to do, Provide food for the hungry, clothes for the needy, education for those without a school or resources for learning, shelter for the homeless, and love from significant people so they will know what love is and will be able to love others as they grow up. I know that is a lot to ask Lord but it’s just what children need! Please make Your love for them so big this day that it is felt all over the nation and brings in a spirit of love among the adults so that they desire to stop fighting and want to promote peace in the land to benefit the children. I pray for safety for every child. A peaceful land, Lord, is that too much to ask? I pray in the name of Jesus, Who saves us all if we are willing. Amen

Dear Lord: Your Word says that “Blessed are they who have regard for the poor and the needy.”
When you help them then these promises are given: “God will raise you up from your bed of languishing and make you happy on earth. When you cry out to the Lord He will help you and bring you the deliverance that you need.” I think it is Psalms 144. My Bible is at home.
Lord, any wartorn area has it’s victims and the ones’ hardest hit are always the children. America’s children cry out for their American father’s too in Afghanistan. Lord, let the cry of all children reach Your Heart. Our US Soldiers in Afghanistan are crying too. Their morale is very low. Lord, these grown up American children: our US Soldiers in Afghanistan….please have mercy on them. Please give them a reason to be joyful in spite of their surroundings. Please give them peace in their hearts and minds. Please give them love and concern from the Christians in their midst. Keep the Christians in their midst busy getting the Gospel to those US Soldiers that are dispairing of hope and life itself. Jesus is coming soon. The Rapture is imminent. God is going to win in the end and establish Jesus Christ as the Ruler of this earth. Please let the light of this truth reach our US Soldier’s ears and hearts. Seal it to their hearts and make them happy again. Dear Lord, with all that is within me, please God Please God, answer affirmatively to these prayers today. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen

be protected during the cold winter months and may they
have the clothes and food they need to strengthen their
bodies. May your protection be around them at all times.

Father God we lift the children up to you, open minds and hearts to you oh God. Put your protection over them, shield them from harm. We release them to you oh Father God. Restore relationships and families, transform marriages for your glory. We ask this in Jesus Name

Lord, I say Amen to the above prayer. Lord, let those who purpose evil on innocents of Afghanistan fall by their own devices. Give our military leaders and our President and his cabinet knowledge and insight in making decisions in regard to this war. Lord reveal yourself in a mighty way to our President. May He come to a deeper knowledge of you. Humble him before you Lord so you can teach Him your ways and then He will be more able to lead our country in these trying days. You spoke the universe and world into being and yet you see a sparrow light! It is way too much for me to understand. But this I know - You have redeemed me and You have chosen me and You call me Your own. So I am full of joy as I come to You now and give You praise and thanksgiving for all You have done.
I am thankful that the lives of the soldiers in Afghanistan are in Your hands. You are good and true and do not play games or take things lightly. You know exactly what is going on and what will happen. You know our thoughts before we do. So, today, LORD, I ask that Your Holy Spirit blow a path of fire through our soldiers that will ignite their hearts to burn for You. Give them a passion and desire to serve and know You. Give them boldness as they step out and leave behind the chains and things that hinder them. Show favor to them, LORD, and lead them in the path that leads to everlasting life. All because of Jesus - amen!

Dear Father in Heaven, please give grace, wisdom and great insight to the soldiers who are serving in Afghanistan today. It is an extraordinarily difficult place today, Dear Father, but You are the Master of overcoming difficulties and with Your help all things are possible. I pray that You will guard the way of the soldiers as they go out and keep them safe in every situation. Please give them great wisdom as to where to go and how to proceed, and open up a way before them. I pray You will give them strength for the job at hand and eyes to see the truth of every situation they encounter, especially of those things that are hidden. I pray that mighty spiritual strongholds will fall like dominoes in Afghanistan because of the prayers of Your people, and that with such strongholds removed those who have applied themselves to bringing peace and healing to that nation may be able to move forward with great power and great effectiveness. Please let it be Your will that is done in Afghanistan today. Heavenly Father, for every person who has a loved one serving in Afghanistan today may there be comfort from Your Holy Spirit and encouragement to trust their loved one into Your all-powerful compassionate hands.
