Lord we thank you for all those who are fighting in Afghanistan. Protect them Lord as they try to protect the innocents…Lord we thank you for all those who were honored yesterday for their service to our country. Answer their needs. Lord please give our leaders insight and wisdom as they make the right decisions. And keep your Hand on all those families who are suffering lost from the Fort Hood killings. Oh, Lord how we need you to descend down on all of us in these trying days. Raise up people to pray and be faithful to you. Please Lord may we become worthy of your blessings….cleanse each of us by the power of your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name…Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, I am so very glad that You have raised up this prayer force for Afghanistan! and I know You answer prayer in ways far better than we can even ask or think. Today in my private prayers I was encouraged with hope for Afghanistan for the first time. I know that in some places things seem to look bad, but I also know that You are at work, and no one can stop Your hand, or ask You, “what are You doing?” I thank You in advance for the good You are intending to bring out of what Satan has intended for evil in Afghanistan.

Today in many nations we also remembered those who have fought for our freedoms over the past century and have especially remembered those who have laid down their lives to make this world a safer and a better place. Help us to honor their memories by truly choosing things that are good and right and just in our own personal choices, as much as we are able to do so. For those mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and sweethearts for whom the pain of loss is still very new and raw please give a special measure of comfort and grace and may they be made to know that many have remembered and are grateful for the sacrifices of their loved one, as well as for the hard work and diligence being put forth by the troops in Afghanistan even today. Thank You, Father in Heaven. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

Father, We agree with Your word that says that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to know Your Son Jesus and be saved. Today, reveal Yourself to many young persons in Afghanistan. Target young men and women who are old enough to know and long for truth and peace. See the desire in their hearts and show Yourself to them. Let the truth be revealed by two or more witnesses. And bless them abundantly as they seek to know You. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Thank you for your mercy and kindness to all generations and for your patience in waiting for me. I yield to your perfect will in waiting for your children who do not yet know who you are. Reveal to one afghan and one soldier who you really are today. Give them a dream or a vision that will lead them to you.

Cover our soldiers in the shadow of your wings and from those who would seek to destroy them. Thank you for answered prayer.

Lord, you see the beautiful people of Afghanistan, but Lord, you also see multitudes who are without you and on their way to an eternal damnation. Lord, we pray that you would intervene in their future. We pray that you would release the spirit of adoption upon the Afghan people. Lord, we pray that you would prepare the way for your return. May many come to know you as their Lord and Savior. Lord, you see the hearts. Lord, you see how many of these people were raised and the things they have had to endure living in darkness. Lord, we ask for your mercy, we ask for your grace, we ask for your light. Be their Father, we ask in Jesus name, Amen.

And, Lord, I would also like to pray for all of our troops in Afghanistan and around the world. Lord, we would also ask that you would loose the spirit of adoption on our troops. While many are on foreign soil, we pray that they also would have a revelation of who you are. Send them your spirit, shine you face on them and be merciful to them also. Thank you so much, Lord. We worship you and praise you. Thank you for hearing us, thank you for loving us! IN Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Amen, Lord. I agree with this prayer. And Lord, I ask that you would use all forms of media to bring your truth to the lost in Afghanistan. I thank you for the ministries of Trans World Radio, Far East Broadcasting, Arabic Broadcasting, SAT7 and Middle East Media - to name the few I know at work in the radio & TV mediums. And I thank you for Every Home for Christ and the Jesus Project film teams asking your protection for them as they go home-to-home and village-to-village in Afghanistan. May they be received with open hearts and may the Gospel take root in their lives and produce 100-fold.

Father, there are those who say they love death more than we love life. Father, Your Word says Jesus came to give life and give it more abundantly. We ask today that you bless our armed forces more abundantly with safety, protection, guidance, good leadership, miracles, endurance, strength, wisdom and whatever else they need as they protect our freedom. We thank You, Lord, that it is done, in Jesus’ Name, Amen

Father I thank you that you give us life, abundant life and today Lord I ask that the ears of the people would be opened to receive your eternal life. That the eyes of their understanding would be opened and your light would shine through the darkness that tries to overpower them daily. Lord I ask that your presence be magnified in their lives today in Jesus name Amen

Thank you Jesus for going to the cross. Thank you for your gift of forgiveness and salvation. This gift is for everyone but there are many that are blinded and do not know You. Reveal Yourself to many today through dreams, a television program, encounters with a Christian or an angel and through Your Word. We want to see Your Kingdom filled with believers!!
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

God bless YOU! Now MORE THAN EVER we need to press into prayer for Afghanistan. The last 2 months have reported the worst death toll for troops. There’s simply a BIG BATTLE going on for this region, would you please do whatever you can do to push the prayer focus for this and recruit folks to jump in with us on this Afghan Prayer Patrol.

Let’s do some ‘cashing IN’ for God’s will in Afghanistan, shall we?
