LORD of all creation! What a blessing to call You “Father” and to call on You on behalf of others. LORD, I know that You have plans for all those people in Afghanistan who are made in Your image and for whom You sent Your Son to die and the plans are for them to be saved and sanctified. LORD, I call on You today to begin that process in those hearts that You have found to be turning toward You, those who are seeking truth and righteousness. LORD, send Your Holy Spirit to convict and to reveal the truth. Let dreams and visions be commonplace so that these people can see and know Jesus! Bless them today, LORD, with Your favor and mercy.

And also, LORD, I want to pray for those two soldiers who are missing. LORD, I ask that You protect their lives and also the lives of those who are out searching for them. Bring them all home safely. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, our sins tell us we are guilty in Your Presence, and You have an extraordinary way of orchestrating circumstances to get our attention, when we fail to listen to You and acknowledge those sins. But You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ the Righteous One, full of grace and truth, to untie the knots and break the chains of those same sins that keep us imprisoned in evil doing. May there be at least one in Afghanistan today, or many in that needy land, who is tired of the sins they do and hate doing and is willing to call on You for help and for mercy and for grace to help in time of need. May such a one find Your grace and Your help to pass through the very narrow gate of the cross into the broad and wonderful plain of forgiveness and the freedom to do right and to resist every tempation to do evil. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

Yes Lord, one way to evangelize Afghanistan is to target key leaders and give them a Paul on the Damascus Road experience. We hear that Jesus is appearing to many Moslims and they are coming to Christ. Should this happen in Afghanistan this would decidedly tip the balance in favor of our objectives of peace and Judeochristian govening laws and bodies. May the Holy Angels of God penetrate the enemie’s camps all over Afghanistan and undo the evil strategies mapped out against our precious ones over there now. May the Holy Angels of God protect and guide and instruct our US Soldiers. You promise to give them a Song in their night seasons. In Jesus Name we pray with Thanksgiving. Amen

Save one soul for your glory today. Give them your love for which his/her heart has longed for. Let your name be lifted up in this place.

I pray for our soldiers and their safety because you and you alone are their deliverer.

Our Father in heaven, may Your glory be evident in Afghanistan today, that the world may know that YOU are truly the King of Kings and Soverign Lord of Lords! Your word says “Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued? Surely, thus says the LORD, even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, and the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you, and I will save your sons.” Isa. 49:24-25 Rescue those who are in the clutches of the evil one, and bring SALVATION to the Afghan people! I pray for captive soldiers, Oh God, that you would make a miraculous way of escape for them, and provide escapes from death for our troops and the innocents. Neutralize the mines, bullets, and mortars, every weapon of the enemy, and give our troops discernment, courage, and Holy Spirit comfort as they patrol. Let Your goodness fall upon them, anoint them with a double portion today! May this be a no blood, no casualty day, and a day of deliverance for Afghanistan! Thank You for Your limitless mercy. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever, AMEN!

    Father,

I pray for calm to reign today, instead of violence. May the troops be protected and the people have rest today. Rest from attacks and refreshment from You. May the people of Afghanistan come into Your Rest.

    In Jesus Name,

    Amen

Father, Raise up peacemakers for Afghanistan - ones who will intercede and work toward peace and security for all, especially the weak and lonely. Thank You that You have a plan for each life and that You are not willing that any should be lost. Today, LORD, intervene in a life that has been confused and misdirected. Open that heart to hear and know the truth. And let Jesus be the key! Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, I look so much forward to the day when You will give a new Heavens, and a new earth, brought forth in righteousness, without sin and without a curse. But for now we struggle with the fallen condition of this world and the troubles that sin has brought into it. I wonder what Your divine purpose would look like today for Afghanistan, Dear Lord. I wonder if that nation exists on this earth in its present condition with many troubles and challenges as a message to us, or a call to take action against sin and wickedness as it manifests itself? Certainly out of Afghanistan has come that which gave a tremendous wake-up call to the world at 9-11. Perhaps that was a call to us to something. Perhaps it was a call to wake up to the terrible problems that can result when evil is allowed to run rampant and unchecked. Perhaps it was a wake-up call to pay attention to the encroaching evil in our own prosperous nations and to take action against sin and wickedness in ever form. For a short while most people seemed to suddenly be aware of their need for You, but that hunger seems to have been forgotten again, and everything has returned to the “status quo” that existed prior to that disaster.

I do pray that You will have Your way in Afghanistan, and that Your will be done there. If there are those that You are calling to serve that nation in any way and make a lasting difference there for Your Name’s sake, may those individuals find the love and grace to respond to Your call and Your direction. If there are more or different things that our governments need to be doing to bring about healing to that nation I pray for righteous leaders in government who will proceed with wisdom and truth in relation to that and other nations. I pray that You would raise up believers among the Afghan people who will stand up for truth and for Your wisdom, and make a difference in that nation. It is extraordinarily difficult for anyone in Afghanistan to openly profess faith in You, so may we who call on You be willing and ready to support and help such a one in any way we can.

Dear Father in Heaven, I had heard that Afghanistan seemed to still be mired in trouble and corruption, with no end in sight to the violence. I pray for healing of all the troubles there and the dawning of a new day for Afghanistan, by Your mercy and by Your grace. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ Precious and Holy Name. Amen.

Dear Lord: In Psalms two you ask us, “Ask of Me and I will give you the Nations.” Lord we are asking for Afghanistan. Give us Afghanistan daily to pray for and watch over in Your Name, Jesus, the Creator of Heaven and earth and Afghanistan too! Please reconstruct this country and fashion it in the destiny you originally planed in Your Masterplan of Creation. Let righteous men and women start to rise to positions of decision and leadership that will implement Your Plan. Let creative and witty inventions come into play that will speed up the recovery and redemptive process! We serve a Mighty God and One who hears and answers prayers according to His Will and Word. In Jesus name we pray with thanksgiving, Amen.

    Heavenly Father,

You are the Father of new days. Without You there would not be a new day with the sun rising and setting on time as it always seems to do. Please help us to never take the new day for granted for the world turns at the motion of Your hand and no other. We pray for the new day in Afghanistan to include defeat of those who are terrorizing others and who seek to dominate because of their religion or because they just want to be the ruling power not for the good of the people but for their own greedy gain. I pray for You to show Your strength in the land today and to knock down those who oppose You and Your plans. Please show them Who is really in charge of the universe. Please bless the people in Afghanistan with a feeling of peace that could only come through You. May Your will be done in the land and I do pray urgently that You would ensure the safety of all the troops stationed there and help them to seek out Your word for comfort and wisdom in how to live their lives. May the front lines know of no wounds this day. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen

Father, I pray in agreement with these words.

I ask for Your blessings to come down upon Afghanistan. I invite You Lord to have Your way in this place, and ask that Afghanistan would be aligned with it’s divine purpose. Father of mercy, release Your blessings, and begin to realign this place with Your original destiny.

I agree that Your kingdom would come and Your will would be done in Afghanistan. I ask that You would stop those who would hinder Afghanistan from it’s divine purpose, and raise up peacemakers: men and women of wisdom who can usher Afghanistan forward into a season of fruitfulness and blessing.

Nothing is too hard for You, Lord. You alone, Elohim, created the universe, the heavens, the earth, the land, the seas, and all that dwell in them. Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who is and was, and is to come. Hallelujah!

We are in agreement, Lord, that You are able to bring forth the factors that would cause the nation of Afghanistan to be all that You created it to be. Bless the people of Afghanistan with a revelation of Who You Are. Bless them with a spirit of repentance. Bless them with a spirit of confession. Bless them with protection from their enemies. Bless them with a knowledge of Your Son, and a desire to receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Send laborers into the harvest fields of Afghanistan. We stand in the gap and make up the hedge for the people there, dear Father. Hear our cry, and answer us, I pray. In the name of Your Son, Jesus, the Co-Creator of all that there is, amen.

    DEAR LORD,
PLEASE GIVE THE TROUBLE MAKERS AND ALL THOSE THAT DO NOT BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST SON OF GOD TO HAVE DREAMS AND VISIONS OF OUR GLORIOUS SAVIOR. HELP THEM TO SEE HIS GOODNESS, MERCY, GRACE, FORGIVENESS AND POWER. HELP THEM TO SEARCH FOR HIM AS THEY WOULD SEARCH FOR TREASURES. HELP THEM SEARCH FOR HIM UNTIL THEY FIND HIM AND INVITE HIM INTO THEIR HEARTS. GIVE THEM A HUNGER AND THIRST FOR JESUS AND HIS LOVE AND PEACE. HE IS THE PEACE MAKER IN JESUS HOLY NAME.

May they come to faith in you before your return, so that they will join the multitude from all nations, tribes & tongues in praising you around your throne. Be exalted above the heavens, O Lord. Thank you Father that you still reign and that you are Lord of Lord and King of Kings. Bring into reality that which you have planned for this country before time began. We ask for a mighty move of your hand in the lives of these people. We request that you hover over our soldiers and guard them from all harm this day.

God bless YOU! Now MORE THAN EVER we need to press into prayer for Afghanistan. The last 2 months have reported the worst death toll for troops. There’s simply a BIG BATTLE going on for this region, would you please do whatever you can do to push the prayer focus for this and recruit folks to jump in with us on this Afghan Prayer Patrol.

Let’s do some ‘cashing IN’ for God’s will in Afghanistan, shall we?
