Father, I am so glad that You are all powerful, all knowing, all sovereign, and that You are in control. Afghanistan is so mixed up and there are so many factions fighting against each other that only You can do anything to bring order and goodness out of that situation. I ask You today to work in the lives of those You know to be faithful and honest to do what they can to bring about order and stability to that country. Don’t let the terrorists have their way today, LORD. Foil their every plot. Give the soldiers and police wisdom and discernment and help them work together for the good of all. Time has passed so swiftly today and now it is late and I am sleepy. I am sorry, grumbling is not a good way to open prayer to the God of the universe. You are so atune to us that You already know how I am feeling before I come before You. I hope You will recognize the effort I am putting into meeting with You on behalf of Afghanistan and know that I am coming to You because I do have faith that my prayer has the possibility of causing a life to be spared. I do ask that You would save the lives of the soldiers, all the troops who are so far from home tonight in Iraq. Please give them more opportunities to be in touch with their loved ones at home. Perhaps You could nudge them to soon send out their valentine cards is they have not already done so. Please let them recognize that they are loved completely by You as no other person could possibly do. Thank You for showing Your love in Afghanistan. Thank You for the smiling faces of people who are happy after having had such major losses due to the war. Their joy comes only from knowing You in the midst of a storm. I have been reading over the prayers of my brothers and sisters in Christ on this website. We do come together in agreement on today’s prayer focus. Please bless the leadership in Afghanistan with Your hand upon them guiding them in which way they should go and what action should occur next in order to meet the final goal of peace. Lord, You are high above all that goes on here on earth. You see it all. I pray that You would zero in on a leader who has been borderline, one who sits on the fence and goes the way the wind blows each day. I pray You will pick him up and set him right with You. No longer let him be tossed to and fro. Please help him to be firmly in Your grasp never to waver again according to the opinion of people. May he only be listening to Your voice from here on out. And may many through his direction come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus is the Way. May many of the soldiers who are serving in the land also discover Who is their Lord. Do not let any continue in a status of lostness. Please protect all the troops from any dangers that are lurking, waiting for them to cross enemy paths. Lord I pray that the peace talks be genuine and a ploy. Give the people involved discernment as to what is true and what is deceitful. Father we put our trust in you. Father, I am so glad that You are all powerful, all knowing, all sovereign, and that You are in control. Afghanistan is so mixed up and there are so many factions fighting against each other that only You can do anything to bring order and goodness out of that situation. I ask You today to work in the lives of those You know to be faithful and honest to do what they can to bring about order and stability to that country. Don’t let the terrorists have their way today, LORD. Foil their every plot. Give the soldiers and police wisdom and discernment and help them work together for the good of all. Let this be a day when the enemy is defeated and the good, honest citizens prevail. In Jesus’ name. Amen
Heavenly Father,
Time has passed so swiftly today and now it is late and I am sleepy. I am sorry, grumbling is not a good way to open prayer to the God of the universe. You are so atune to us that You already know how I am feeling before I come before You. I hope You will recognize the effort I am putting into meeting with You on behalf of Afghanistan and know that I am coming to You because I do have faith that my prayer has the possibility of causing a life to be spared. I do ask that You would save the lives of the soldiers, all the troops who are so far from home tonight in Iraq. Please give them more opportunities to be in touch with their loved ones at home. Perhaps You could nudge them to soon send out their valentine cards is they have not already done so. Please let them recognize that they are loved completely by You as no other person could possibly do. Thank You for showing Your love in Afghanistan. Thank You for the smiling faces of people who are happy after having had such major losses due to the war. Their joy comes only from knowing You in the midst of a storm. May people never fail to glorify and praise You on a daily basis. And may our praises be ever fresh in Your ears. I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen
Father, I praise Your Holy Name. I ask that You will protect the weak and wounded. Help them to find peace in in You so that they can look to a better future. Be with those that are there to protect them and strive to rid their country of the evil people that do violence and destroy property.

Thank you, Father, for the truth you told Jeremiah - that nothing is too difficult for you. You are the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. You are righteous and true. You are just and merciful. Were it not for your mercy, we would be consumed. Thank you for reaching out to the troops even now, Lord, and revealing yourself to them. May they hear and heed your voice saying ‘this is the way, walk in it.’ Thank you for surrounding them with your favor as a shield. Thank you that you are their refuge. Be glorified.
Lord, many innocent men, women and children have died because of the actions of their own people and because war being what it is, our own weapons have also destroyed innocent lives. Please give our US Soldiers visions and assurances of Your Presence with them waking, working, patroling, relaxing, eating and sleeping. Thank you God that you do not forget anyone of your creation. You love all people. We ask God that you deliver them from the assault of the enemy that has them blinded to your truth, Lord. Lord, we acknowledge that victory only comes by Your hand, so we bring this conflict before Your throne, and ask You to judge between the righteous and the wicked. May the Afghani troops and our troops be set free from all the violence that surrounds them every day. I truly believe that is what You are doing, just now, and the evil forces that empower wickedness in the world know it. Help our leaders to remember that appeasement does not work. Indeed, in the past several decades appeasement has been the catalyst that led to many of the terrorist acts and caused tremendous suffering. I have been reading over the prayers of my brothers and sisters in Christ on this website. We do come together in agreement on today’s prayer focus. Please bless the leadership in Afghanistan with Your hand upon them guiding them in which way they should go and what action should occur next in order to meet the final goal of peace. Lord, You are high above all that goes on here on earth. You see it all. I pray that You would zero in on a leader who has been borderline, one who sits on the fence and goes the way the wind blows each day. I pray You will pick him up and set him right with You. No longer let him be tossed to and fro. Please help him to be firmly in Your grasp never to waver again according to the opinion of people. May he only be listening to Your voice from here on out. And may many through his direction come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus is the Way. May many of the soldiers who are serving in the land also discover Who is their Lord. Do not let any continue in a status of lostness. Please protect all the troops from any dangers that are lurking, waiting for them to cross enemy paths. Lord I pray that the peace talks be genuine and a ploy. Give the people involved discernment as to what is true and what is deceitful. Father we put our trust in you. These leaders need Your divine hand of guidance. I ask that You lead them with Your eye upon them. Speak to them about which way to turn and which choices to choose.

They can reach the unsaved at their own level and in their daily walk. They are there to touch them in their infirmaties and sorrows to give daily comfort. This is another type of leadership.
