Lord Father God, we adore You, for You are far beyond us. Your ways are not our ways and our thoughts are not Your thoughts. You sit in the heavens and laugh as the nations rage, and the people imagine a vain thing. They think that they can overthrow You and Your Anointed One, Jesus the Messiah. But the darkness has never been able to overwhelm the light, though it may be seeming to have the upper hand at the moment. You say, “Be still and know that I AM GOD!”
We choose to rejoice as we come to you in prayers of intercession for the nation of Afghanistan. May all the people there know the Truth, as You pour out Your Spirit on all flesh, just as You have promised. We are confident that what You have promised You are able also to perform, in Jesus name, amen.

Father I ask that you would rain down your love and then your justice in Afghanistan this day.

Father, You told us believers to be in the world but not of the world. In the world it seems there is no good news coming out of Afghanistan. But if we purpose not to be of this world, then You have given us great power through the life, death and resurrection promises in Your Word. So this day we go forth as your earthly prayer warriors. We go forth totally trusting in Your role over the Afghanistan conflict. Your Word tells us what we can pray; Your Holy Spirit guides us to pray with confidence that You hear and You act. To You, Jesus, I make this appeal. Amen

Another day to proclaim Your goodness to us all…
Another day to just bask in the glory of Your handiwork…
Another day to ask Your Blessing on us all…
Another day closer to the end of this llloooonnnnngggg war…
Be with the soldiers today, no matter where they are deployed…

Lord I ask you to somehow intervene to either prevent the Koran-burning or to protect the troops and peaceful citizens in muslim conflict-areas around the world if it does go ahead. Could someone make a citizen’s arrest of this misguided pastor? Maybe you could zap him as you zapped Saul on the Road to Damascus, so he sees how in error he is. O Lord, please protect those who work for peace and justice from the wrong-headed actions of this ignorant man. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ah, LORD God, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thine outstretched arm! How mighty You are! You spoke the heavens and earth into being! and yet You have made us, though part of Your creation, partners with You in bringing the good news of Your redemption to others. So, LORD, today we target Afghanistan. A land clouded in deep darkness. But that is where Your light will shine the brightest – in the darkest places. So send encouragement to a believer right now in Afghanistan to speak on Your behalf. Let his words be few but right from Your heart. Let those words be like an arrow to pierce the heart of an unbeliever. And let those words bring healing and reconciliation. Thank You, LORD, that You call us into life one by one. And daily You are adding to Your number of children! Bless You, Father, In Jesus’ name. Amen

Oh Lord! With the death of this chaplain there is more blood of your children crying out to you from Afghan soil! Hear oh Lord and act. Send warring angels to do battle with the darkness. Send protecting angels to keep our troops and the Afghan troops, and the innocent safe. Send more workers into the harvest to reap a great throng into your kingdom. In Jesus mighty name and by the power in his blood. Amen

Lord, this pastor in Florida who wants to burn the Koran is sowing hate. Muslims can be won to you only via love. This act on this pastor’s part is going to not only put our troops in danger but all the missionaries around the world who are witnessing to Muslims. It’s like to Crusades, missguided. Please speak to this pastor and turn him from his wicked way.

Father please change the heart of this Pastor in Florida who wants to burn the Quran. He does not represent me. He should read the Quran. He should understand that it is a small percentage of Muslims who behave poorly just like his small congregation behaving poorly. Christians who follow you Lord should not behave like this. Please intervene on the behalf of all of our troops in Muslim countries. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to do the right thing as Christians. Please help us and guide us in this matter. Please put your hedge of protection around the 1 / 2 and bring them all home safely.

Father, Your Word says that You sent Your Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. I ask You to do this in Afghanistan for all the people – for the leaders, for the military, for the widows and the orphans, for the Taliban, for Al Qaeda. for the believers hidden away there, for the obscure and unknown Whom You have created and love. You love them so greatly! Send laborers into the harvest, I pray, and send Your holy Spirit before them to break up the fallow ground of the hearts of the people. Be glorified all over Afghanistan today, in Jesus name, amen.

Father, I lift up our soldiers overseas as well as here in the States. Surround them with your wisdom and comfort as they continue to faithfully serve our Country. In Your name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I am praying for spiritual breakthrough to take place through out Afghanistan and the entire world today. Let the name of Jesus be magnified! In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Father again today I pray that this pastor in Florida will not burn the Quran and put our troops in further danger. There are thousands of Muslims in this country that we have a chance to reach with the Good News of Jesus but this act could hurt our witness here. Father I pray for a spiritual breakthrough for this pastor for the sake of our troops.

Lord, we thank you for the miracles you have done in so many countries where opposition to your Word is so great and your new children suffer so much. we ask Lord that you will gather in the harvest from the latter rain in Afghanistan. we ask that you call people out from among the Afghan people, and we pray that you will lift them up in a miraculous, mighty way. we ask that you bless your children among the soldiers, give them a heart for the souls of their comrades, give them opportunity and grace to speak of your love and willingness to save. we know that though there are guns and weapons everywhere, the battle is a spiritual one, and on that ground we ask you to come in like the WARRIOR you are and make this country open to your Word. bring freedom to these people, give them a deep desire for it. in Jesus wonderful, all powerful name i pray.

Father, Your word says that unless You build a city, the builders build in vain. We are calling on You to establish Afghanistan as Your country. Build it up, one soul at a time. Speak to the ones You know are open to hearing from You and desire truth and righteousness. Open the eyes of their hearts to know and serve You. Bring this nation into Your fold, LORD, so that You are the One who receives the glory and honor. Thank You, LORD, for all You have done and all that You are doing and will do. In Jesus’ name. Amen

LORD, You see the spiritual darkness that surrounds Afghanistan and how its people are held in bondage. Please may today be a day of breakthrough for these souls that You died for.
