Father, sweep the country of Afghanistan free from the wicked who have laid hold of this nation and are determined to rule it in terror, fear and a lack of godliness. Let this nation and its people whom You love be spared this fate. Arise, Lord, and march through the cities and the mountains and every foot of this land and sweep it clean of the Taliban and Al-Quada. Declare, Lord,”This land is mine!” Jesus, it’s to You we appeal. Amen

Come as a mighty warrior Lord, raise a war cry over Afghanistan, prevail against Your enemies, and route the powers of darkness from that place.

Break their power over the people, deny them their place of honor, judge their evil deeds and chase them from their strongholds. Release Your angels to contend with these evil spirits and subdue them. Undergird the efforts of the peacemakers, and smile down upon Afghanistan with Your presence. In Jesus name, amen

Father, May ALL our troops say and believe “…there are Angels hovering round me…” I send my guardian angel over to my Son to protect him and keep him safe during these last few weeks of his deployment. Keep him focused and alert. And may your Holy Spirit guide the troops to always do the right thing for the right reason. Bring all our troops home Safely.

Father protect the troops, civilians and believers in Afghanistan from the current wave of unrest over the careless and prideful statements by thoughtless people here in the states. Jesus set the example of how to deal with those who need Him. He ate with sinners – not the proud and arrogant. Be merciful to us Lord…

Father I pray today for the pastor and the church that would want to burn the Quran. Father I pray that this would not take place. Even though we do not agree or believe in this book it is not right to do such a thing. This has made news in Afghanistan and has angered the people there in such a way that it could endanger our troops. Protect our troops from further violence. Jesus I pray that Your love for all mankind would overshadow this event and bring peace. In Your great name Jesus I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I am praying for spiritual breakthrough to take place all through out Afghanistan! I am praying that those who worship false idols, and other gods will denounce them and follow Jesus Christ. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

Father, You are GREAT and do GREAT things! All power has been given unto Your Son, Jesus, and to the Body of Christ. All authority is ours in the name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of God. You don’t need, and we don’t need rifles, guns, ammunition, grenades, bombs, IED’s to effect spiritual breakthrough in Afghanistan. We simply need the Holy Spirit moving in response Thank You, that when we come into agreement with You and Your Word and each other, Holy Spirit moves.
We are in agreement today for a spiritual breakthrough in Afghanistan that will boggle the minds of the experts. Let Your power go forth, Lord; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against You! Arise, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered, but let the righteous rejoice! In the name of the Captain of the heavenly Hosts, Jesus, I pray, amen.

Break the cycle of hatred and revenge in this city. Shine your light of truth into the hearts of men and women so they can be set free.

Father I lift our soldiers to you this morning and ask for you to protect them from the evil tide of killing. You are greater than all of the warriors sent against your people. Shield them from those who are full of hatred. Thank you for all those you have saved through this war.

As I pray for the safety and wellness of the soldiers in Afghanistan, I think of the safety and wellness of their families and loved-ones…
Please keep them all in the palm of your hand…
Please make yourself VERY real to those fighting for freedom and for those still at home…
I also bring to mind those who pray for the soldiers…
Keep them in tune with the prayers the soldiers need at that moment: protection, sleep, good working materials, intel, and a guard against loneliness (here and there).
Bring the soldiers HOME…
Bring them home safe and whole…

Lord watch over Schaine and his fellow Marines as they make their way onto their new home base in Afghanistan. Strengthen him and encourage his to turn to you. Lord please place an umbrella of protection around our troops so there are no casualties today. We know your strength and power and we place their safety in your hands. All our love to you for strength and power and the gift of your son.

Father, Protect our troops today in Afghanistan. Let this be a day of no casualties or even any injuries. Give our soldiers wisdom and discernment when engaging the enemy. Make them totally aware of the whole situation so that they are not ambushed. Cover them when they sleep, eat, and have time off. Thank You, LORD, for Your unfailing love.

Father, the enemy is working hard against your people. We call upon your mighty power to wipe them out and save the innocent lives, those weak ones who can not defend themselves from such terror. God grant your favor to be with those defending them and let them be kept from harm. Lord, we ask for an end to this violence in the name of Jesus we pray. AMEN

As we celebrate Labor/Labour day here in North America, I am reminded that we cease from our labors today and rest, visit with friends and family, cook out, barbecue, travel to a mini-vacation, just have “good” day from work…
BUT the soldiers do NOT ever have a day like this…
They must work 24/7…
Always on call…
Never enough sleep…
Always on alert for the enemy’s tactics and traps…
Yes, their families’ may be enjoying today, but the thoughts of their soldier loved-one NEVER far from their daily activities…
Be with the soldiers today LORD, wherever they are deployed…
Keep their defences/defenses on alert…
And LORD, get Afghanistan FREE!!!

Abba Father, we declare in united faith as we pray in Jesus’ holy name with your Holy Spirit’s leading in us as we claim your healing grace and peace be upon the troops and their loved ones at home.That your favor will surround them like a shield and those faithfuls on the ground among the troops, Afgahnistan police, and the civilians will reflect your grace to the lost souls around them for your kingdom’s sake. Glory, honor and praise for your answers to our united intercession in Jesus’ merit. Amen.

Father, bless all the troops serving in Afghanistan today with an outpouring of your mercy and grace. Show them mercy by protecting their lives. Keep them whole, well, and healthy. Show them grace by give them joy in spite of hardship and separation from families. Bind them together in all their tasks and even when they are off duty. Make them successful in all things that they work together on. And help them understand that it is You that is guiding and directing their lives. Let the name of Jesus be high and lifted up among the soldiers today. Amen

Dear Father in Heaven, thank You so much for our troops who have been serving in Afghanistan. I have heard that it is a difficult environment and quite tough, not even taking into consideration the conflict and the intentions of the Taliban to afflict with loss and with terror. Please help these troopers in every way that they need. Dear Father in Heaven, I also think of the ones who have already served, and of the sacrifices that have been made. May nothing have been in vain, but may all work to achieve a lasting good purpose in Your. May there be success in this war, more than thought possible, and ultimately may Your will be done in Afghanistan today and in the days to come. In Jesus’ Holy and True Name. Amen.

I ask for your grace and favor to be with the teams as they go out: help them to move together in unity, and to function as one cohesive unit. Knit them together, Lord, into a solid force for peace, and give them victory after victory today as they patrol this place. In Jesus name, amen
