Father, Leader of all mankind who will receive You, we are so grateful that You have introduced Yourself to us and called us Your children. We do not deserve, as King David said, even one of the tender mercies that You have extended to us. Oh, dear God, there in Afghanistan, but for the grace of God, go everyone of us….there in darkness and in error and in loss as unbelievers. Holy! Holy! Holy! is Your name.
I would like You to target Hamid Karzai to day, Lord, and all of his advisors as men on which to pour out Your Spirit. They need You so desperately, and don’t even know it unless You woo them.
I would like to target the leaders of the military, also, for a touch from Your hand, a voice in their ears, a reassurance from You that they are going in the right direction. Be strong on behalf of Your Church in Afghanistan, on behalf of the leaders of the Church who uphold Your Word and Your ways. Work in them all to will and to do of Your good pleasure, in Jesus name, amen.

Reading this I am reminded how great you are and how helpless we are without you. Thank you for your grace that covers all of our shortcomings.
We ask for your help and wisdom in this time of war for both our soldiers and for the people of Afghanistan. Thank you for the privilege of praying for those I have never seen. Our place in the world is so small and yet your world is so vast. Thank you that we have a faithful Father in charge of it all.

Father, I am in agreement in asking for divine wisdom be given to the leaders of afghanistan. Man can not fight evil in his own strength. As these leaders desire to bring freedom and peace to their nation, bless them God with guidance from your hand. Grace and favor be upon them. Take the few and make them mighty by your power to deliver their country for the good of all and the glory to your name. All you need is a few good men, and many have gone their to support them and given their own lives for this country. Bless those families and protect the men still their helping to defend and protect the innocent. Let these men know, YOU are with them and what they are doing is worthy in your eyes. AMEN

Father, I lift up Peter, a soldier that has been injured by an IED. I pray for healing on his body and mind that only YOU, Father, can do. Give his doctors your wisdom and discernment in treating him. Give comfort and hope to his family in how to reach out to him. Peter saw his Christian buddy get killed by an IED. Holy Spirit, I pray for his buddy’s family that you comfort them and guide them through the steps of grief. Peter will be able to be reunited with his buddy in Heaven. We thank you Lord for giving us this Hope. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen

    LORD,
Today is another day to count our blessings…
To count the peace you give us that passes all understanding concerning those things we do not understand…
To count the days till the soldiers are home…
Please be with the soldiers where ever they are…keep them safe…keep them whole…keep their training foremost in their minds…
BRING THEM ALL HOME SAFE AND WHOLE…
    In Jesus name I pray

Father, this day I rejoice in You! You hear our prayers and as many voices come together in repeating this prayer today to Your heavenly throne, we thank You for the work You are doing in the nation of Afghanistan and its leaders. Work we cannot see with our physical eyes but our faith and knowledge of You reminds us that You are doing a good thing there. Jesus, we glorify You and pray in Your name. Amen.

thank you Father that the birds still sing in afghanistan, thank you that the stars still twinkle. i lift up the soldiers to you, Lord, and ask for their safety. i too pray that you will send dreams to people in afghanistan, dreams of a man in white who loves them, died for them, waits for them. please clean this country up of every spirit that would deny missionaries a place there. please make it possible for these people to hear your Word. i pray Father that you will call on the Christian hearts in the west to pray for this country with all their might, for the time is here, it is now that these people have a chance to live free. if this time passes, centuries could go by before it happens again. please let it happen. in Jesus wonderful amazing perfect name i pray.

Dear Father in Heaven, I agree in prayer with that prayed for believers in Afghanistan. I pray that they will know You are with them. May they be led by Your Holy Spirit, and trust You in all their ways. For any new believers, may they be well taught of Your ways and discipled, so that their faith may be founded on truth and on Your Word. May believers be able to have access to everything they need to grow in grace and knowledge of God. Please encourage Your servants who are able to help them. Please send in others who can support and encourage. Please silence the lies of the evil one and the false accuser of the brethren. May Your will be done in Afghanistan today. In Jesus’ Lovely and True Name. Amen.

Thank You, LORD, for all the believers in Afghanistan. Thank You for the ones who went there deliberately to minister. Thank You for the ones serving in the armed forces and other agencies who have other jobs but are still serving You. Thank You for all who are praying for the country. Thank You for the mighty army that You have raised to bring Afghanistan out of darkness and into Your marvelous light.

Today, LORD, let our prayers be right on target and multiplied. Let all the work done in the land be precise, powerful, and accomplish all that You desire. Let Your word go forth into every nook and cranny. Let Your workers be great witnesses in everything they do or say. Heal the brokenhearted, heal the sicknesses, heal the wounded among Your children. And give them joy and peace during this time of war. In Jesus’ name. Amen

Holy God, King of the Universe, Thank you for suffering and dieing for us Jesus. Thank you for the privilege of entering the throneroom and bringing our prayers to court, knowing they are heard and answered. The blood of the martyrs waters the growth of the church, so it has been said for hundreds of years. I pray for the families of the recently murdered Christians: that You grant them peace and the assurance that their loved ones are with You. Afghani soil received Christian blood and I pray that it calls loudly to You for Your action in that land. Greatly bless, protect and empower your people there. Mercy, justice, or overpowering pouring out of Your Spirit; your will be done!!! In the mighty name of Jesus Amen

Thank you for these Christians in Afghanistan, Father. Bless each one, and use each one to exponentially increase the Kingdom of God in that nation. Keep them strong in you and in the power of your might. Surround them with your angels, cover them with the blood of Jesus, and let their voices bring truth to the people enslaved in the lies of islam. We ask in Jesus’ name. AMEN.

Father, I, too, thank You for siblings in Christ in Afghanistan. These may be native Afghanis or missionaries, or military people, but they all know You and want others to have the peace of God which comes with having eternal life in our Savior Lord Jesus. Your Word through James says (1:12): “Blessed is the man that endures temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Please help our brothers and sisters in Christ in Afghanstan to endure the trials that they are facing being a minority in this land. Help them to keep their eyes on the prize, as Jesus did. For He endured the cross, despising the shame for the joy that was set before Him. Amen.

Father we thank you and know there are believers in Afghanistan. Their numbers may be few but it only takes a pebble to generate the ripple effect. Take this pebble and put Your power to the pebbles so that non-believers are impacted by the Truth of Your Word and saving grace of Your Son Jesus. Protect the believers and give them favor and blessings. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Father, We come altogether standing with those in Afganistan who are wanting to do your will. We are altogether, Your children, and we stand in Christ Jesus and with his Authority. We speak rebuke of the evil that is operating there. We bind their power and cast them out. We call forth a release of godly power to move mightly, taking back what the enemy has stolen, and setting up of godly rule in this nation to stand firm in faith and trust in GOD who will deliver the innocent and those who stand with Him. God has promised to be with those who are with Him with everything they need to be victorious. This is a battle being fought and angels are waiting for us to call forth good for Afgainistan, to grab our prayers as we fight with them. Other wise, the demonic will grab the prayers of evil ones. Stand up and fight for the freedom of the Afghans, who are GOD’s creation. AMEN

    LORD,
I need a sign that Good is winning against the evil in Afghanistan…
I need a sign that soldiers fighting for freedom in Afghanistan are being kept safe…
I need a sign that YOU are still in control… (I know that YOU are, but still…)
I need a sign that America is still a Christian nation…
    In Jesus name I pray

God bless YOU! Now MORE THAN EVER we need to press into prayer for Afghanistan. The last 2 months have reported the worst death toll for troops. There’s simply a BIG BATTLE going on for this region, would you please do whatever you can do to push the prayer focus for this and recruit folks to jump in with us on this Afghan Prayer Patrol.
