Yes, LORD, we ask for victory for the troops in Afghanistan fighting against the terrorists who are Your enemy, too. They have rejected You as God. They have put another, who is not a god, in Your place. Give them no peace until they quit their fighting. And give strength and power to those who are fighting for the right. Thank You for all the soldiers in Afghanistan who have come from other countries to help that country fight against wickedness and terror. Give these soldiers what they need to subdue the enemy. Give them grace and mercy to be friends with the Afghans who want to lead honest lives and help others.Give the commanders and those in charge of plans and operations, wisdom, discernment, and ability to make wise and beneficial decisions. Give them favor with all that they must coordinate with. And give them peace and rest when not on duty.

LORD, I also ask that You protect their families back home. Keep the spouses and children safe and well. Keep the lines of communication open. Help the families find ways to stay in touch. And keep them faithful to the marriage.

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for Your plans to prosper us. Thank You for Your everlasting love and never failing lovingkindness. In Jesus’ name. Amen

oh Father, use this war to win souls to yourself, to your grace, to your mercy. give every soldier the chance to come to you. we ask to please please limit the casualties and injuries of these precious men and women, they are each someone´s child. when you look down on them remember that they are but flesh, like the grass that soon fades away, and have more mercy on them than one life can contain. please send your angels to go before them. No greater love has a man than this, that he lay down his life for his friend. oh Father, bless them, and keep them. defeat those who have oppressed this land in the name of God, Father, defeat them once and for all. thank you for Jesus, in his precious holy name i pray.

God Almighty, Father, Abba, we trust in Your Word today and always. We rely upon Your exceeding great and precious promises all of which are “yea! and amen” in Christ Jesus, Your Son for the troops in Afghanistan. “The Lord sat as King over the deluge; the Lord [still] sits as King [and] forever! The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.” Ps.29:10-11.
And “The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield’ my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore ;my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. The Lord is their [unyielding]Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever.” Ps. 28:7-9.
We give thanks to You, Father, for You hear and answer our prayers in Jesus name, amen.

Lord, for us who believe, where have our victories come from? What has sustained us in time of trial and despair? Who has been the “lifter of our head”? Who has given us the same victory for which we pray today? No one but You, Almighty God. And so we pray, we believe, we wait..all the while anticipating You are acting, You are hearing our prayers and You are answering them. You will be the One to hold up the victory banner over our troops during this conflict. Thank You, Jesus. Amen

Oh Father we pray EARNESTLY for our soldiers safety and victory. Every day we read about casualties. So heartbreaking. Do a mighty miracle on their behalf in catching the enemy and safeguarding our soldiers. I pray that the leaders of the enemy will talk babble and foolishness so that they become vulnerable and can be found and stopped. Hear our prayers O Lord. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

    LORD,
Today is my 60th b-day…I am very blessed to have the privilege to spend with my family, friends, and on-line new friends…
I wonder about those soldiers’ families who will not get to spend any more birthdays with their loved one…The memories that have happened since these wars…
I pray for the soldiers’ birthdays today,,,LET THEM HAVE MANY MANY MORE!!!
Let them return home whole and safe…
Let them come home to a peaceful nation…and leave a peaceful nation that they brought about!!!
Let them come home to friends and family that are blessed because of the soldier…I KNOW THAT I AM!!!
    In Jesus name I pray

Father, You are God Almighty, Your authority is absolute, and Your power is unmatched. We stand in awe of Your presence, and worship at the foot of Your throne.

Lord, we acknowledge that victory only comes by Your hand, so we bring this conflict before Your throne, and ask You to judge between the righteous and the wicked. We believe the cause is just, to free Afghanistan of violence and fear. Father, we ask that You would bring an end to the violence of the wicked and make the just secure. Summon Your power, Oh God, and show us Your strength.

As the God of compassion and mercy, we call on You to come to the aid of the innocent, and undergird the efforts to set them free. Give the soldiers strength and endurance, give the commanders wisdom and discernment. Move Your sovereign hand, Lord, judge those who oppress the weak and threaten the just. Our hope is in You Lord. In Jesus name, amen.

Lord, I agree with Donna and the others as they have verbalized their prayers for our troops in Afghanistan. Father, send your comforting Holy Spirit to the families who have lost loved ones there this week. Grant them the grace to go on with their lives and find purpose that will honor You and the one they have lost. I pray the 91st Ps. over our men and women who are stationed there. Help them to learn how to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God so that You will overshadow them with Your wings.
I pray for the Chaplains who are stationed in Afganistan. Give them supernatural wisdom and revelation to know what to say to the troops who have lost comrades this week. Teach them and us to trust You no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves in.
We love You and know that You are always with them and us as we pray.
May you be glorified in the lives of all Who know You there as they serve our country and the people of Afghanistan. In the precious name of Jesus.

Father in heaven, Holy is Your name! LORD of heaven and earth! Thank You, LORD, for all You have provided for us. Thank You for hearing our prayers.

LORD, there is much violence in Afghanistan that is instigated and carried out by people who have been deceived by the evil one. Open the eyes of their hearts, LORD, to see the truth of their ways. Let them question what they have been told and what they are doing. Remove their chains, take the scales from their eyes, and let their hearts be softened toward You. Thank You, LORD, that You have ways that are higher than our ways and that Your thoughts are above our thoughts. So all I can envision is limited and I don’t want to limit You. Rescue the terrorists from their terrorist ways. Redeem them and call them Your own. Give them new life – abundant life. And make them a crown of glory for You! In Jesus’ name. Amen

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavanly realms. Ephesians 6:12 We fight here on earth; pray for our military and pray for our heavanly forces.

Father, We thank you for your watchful eye upon our loved ones serving in Afghanistan. We pray that each day they will put their trust in You, O Lord. We pray that You will give them strength and energy and peace for the day before them.

Bless each family represented by the troops as we live each day in the uncertainty of the day, but our hope and confidence is in You.

    In Jesus precious name.

God bless YOU! Now MORE THAN EVER we need to press into prayer for Afghanistan. The last 2 months have reported the worst death toll for troops. There’s simply a BIG BATTLE going on for this region, would you please do whatever you can do to push the prayer focus for this and recruit folks to jump in with us on this Afghan Prayer Patrol.

    Remember:

“Prayer is to the Christian what capital is to the business man.” L.Ravenhill

Let’s do some ‘cashing IN’ for God’s will in Afghanistan, shall we?

Thank you for pushing the plow of God’s purposes in Afghanistan forward with your prayers! Our prayers ARE making a difference. You will see His rewards released.
